    Great except bluetooth consistancy

Very easy install once I had the correct size hole drilled for deadbolt portion, must be 2 1/8 inch opening. Installs like pretty much any deadbolt. I’ve seen reviews that say August was a pain. I am anything but a techy so I was a little concerned. I admit that I did do a lot of You tube prior to trying. But August set up was also very smooth. I did both the front and kitchen doors. The bridges are plugged in about 5-10 feet from each lock, bridges are 30-40 feet from the router. The reason for 4 stars is the auto unlock does not always work, sometimes both unlock, sometimes only one, and sometimes none. Working from bluetooth, this should be the easiest working part. Had them for two weeks and love them. Yale assure with August is strongly recommended.

I ordered this because I easily lose my keys. This lock makes it easier for me to because I don't have to keep up with keys now. I haven't been able to connect the lock to my phone but hopefully customer service can rectify that.

Have owned many keyless electronic locks and this one is by far my favorite. I love the options the app gives you to personalize the lock and the ease of access. Locking and unlocking is immediate via the app- i don’t notice any delay at all compared to previous $250-$300 locks i’ve had where there might be a 3-5 second lag. My only issue is that the August module that it came with gave me issues connecting my lock to Apple HomeKit. I had connected it to my lock successfully the first time however I made a mistake while setting up my lock through the app so i reset it and went through the process again. As a result, the lock was not able to be added to HomeKit both through the August app and the HomeKit app, permanently. This is apparently a known issue- you can find only a couple topics on it but it is a module issue. After a grueling hour on the phone with Yale they warrantied the module and are replacing it to resolve the issue. Otherwise, the lock itself is wonderful.

This thing was pretty easy to install myself. I was able to get it on the door no problem. I think the only issue I am having is my door, not the product. It sometimes has a difficult time locking all the way without the door being pushed closed.

Installed two of these at our house and very happy with both. Installation is straightforward and the August app and service are great. Love the convenience of these. No more worrying about forgetting keys when I leave or wondering if I locked the door when hurrying out of the house.

Easy set up! I didn't follow the instructions (I usually don't but don't use me as an example) and managed to still set it up correctly. Love this lock and the ability to set up temporary codes and lock/unlock while being away from home.

Install process was a PAIN. The instructions are incomplete and the hold times on the customer service line was insane (at least an hour). Works great once installed, but WAY more hassle than it needed to be.

Works really well and is easy to use. Only issue, when you install be VERY VERY VERY careful installing the wireless mod. It's weak and snapped right off of mine.

Easy to install and use. I love this lock and it's very convenient to use. Now we don't need to bring a key out. Even if we forget to lock the door, it's not a problem since we can lock the door remotely or you can set to lock automatically itself. Awesome product!

The product has worked but a few annoyances. My first gripe is the level of difficulty to setup without having to call support. I will say calling Yale support and working with a staff member to assist was very easy. The product is sturdy. The length that the bolt goes into the wall is longer than most. Lock is a bit sensitive when it is not perfect. So when firing off the lock in the august app if not perfect cored out and rubs on any edges it misfires. That can be frustrating as I have gone back in with a dremel several times to try to correct but the slightest shift in temp sets it off. I will say we have used others in office our office and this is better than others.

key to the installation is to read the instructions. They should have included the template for a 1 3/4" door but they didn't. Also the general instructions lack the key detail on how you extend out the bolt latch to accommodate a 1 3/4" door. Almost took the lock back until I did more research on the internet. Also be sure you follow programming instructions step-by-step. labor intensive if you have to wipe and do a factory reset and start over. Tough getting the hub to connect to my WiFi. Took multiple attempts but finally got it attached to my WiFi. Once installed though, excellent lock and works well. App though doesn't seem to notify me if the door is unlock but I haven't had time to look to see what the issue might be. Integrates with Alexa perfectly.

I love my Yale-Smart Lock from Nest. I like that I don't have to fumble around looking for a key, just unlock with my cell. I also like when I'm away I can provide a temporary code for someone to enter and do what they need to do.

This lock has a ton of nice features, but it’s inconsistent with its connectivity and I have to reset it often when synced with its doorsense detector. Waking up the touchpad is weird

Yale Assure Lock Touchscreen, is a very nice looking deadbolt and well built. The installation took about 35 min and that’s because I was having issues with the app after setting the master code. Even if you installed deadbolt before I’ll suggest to read the instructions which are easy to understand. In the box it comes with all the necessary parts to be install except the tools, all you need is two Philips screwdrivers and you are set. Once installed and the wireless receiver connected you need to use the August Home to set it up. The locking function work beautifully and does not make lot of noise. To wake up the touch pad you have to tap the lower left corner where the checkmark is located. The app is easy to use and will display if the lock is open or close. One thing I notice when opening the August app it takes few seconds to connect to the lock to show the status. I am not sure is that a feature use to save battery on the lock by outing the wireless receiver to sleep, but is a little annoying as you don’t get the status right away. There were few times that I had to tap on the reconnect because it didn’t connect to the lock on the first try. The auto unlock feature will unlock your door when you arrive at your house, you will also start getting notification before you even get there, I use that feature using an android phone. I do like the virtual keys, is a very useful feature and the best part they can be customized with date and time. The activity log will keep track of your lock activity, another good feature, you can also set up alerts. The lock can be setup with Amazon Alexa, Google Home and Apple Homekit. Overall, this is a great smart lock but not perfect, it very well built and it looks awesome on the door. This lock is not only smart but you have the option to use a physical key, wish they had the smart key system Kiwset has where you can use your existing key. In the box it comes with the deadbolt two pieces and necessary parts, August Connect receiver, bridge, door sensor, a set of 2 keys, and 4 AA batteries.

Yale Smart Lock. My son installed this for me , he said it was easy. I find that the lock is easy to use. The only issue I had was when the sun shines on the lock, I could not see lighted keypad and to solve the problem I have to block the sunlight .
