Have bought 10+ of these locks over a years time as i run an airbnb business. There are some annoying flaws with the august software and these, but all things that august has to make better over time. The Yale locks themselves are great and I am happy to keep using them.

install and setup was really easy, the features are great as well.

So far so good. Bought this to replace a cheaper brand lock I'd bought previously that failed pretty quickly. This had more features, and catching it on sale meant it wasn't that much more than the original one it replaced, and I'm much happier with it. Wish I'd just bought this to begin with.

Best investment ever. I love this lock. One complaint is the set us was kind of a lot and it took us a while because we kept getting an error message. I would recommend

My overall experience with trying to get it installed was terrible. The lock didn’t come by the install time and from there the overall experience went downhill. Linda story short I will never have them install anything else for me.

I've had this lock installed since March. It cost $297.00. For that kind of money it should work flawlessly but instead it works correctly about 80% of the time. It will tell me it needs to be on wifi to unlock, then unlocks anyway, at times. Sometimes it says it open and it isn't. Sometimes by the time I make it to the door it's trying to lock again. I can't find a rhyme or reason for it. It's more work to put in the code than it is to use a key so unless it unlocks automatically it has very limited use for me.

Recommend having a Best Buy install this is you never worked with locks. This device has several failover features. It will use both wifi and bluetooth if the signal for either goes down. Last but not least you can use the keypad or the key for manual lock or unlock. Product was well designed and well worth the price.

Very simple and straight forward installation and instructions. Took a few tries to get it paired to my wifi but could have very well been operator error. I would definitely recommend to someone looking for a smart lock.

Not really happy with this purchase. It doesn't tell you when the battery is low it seems like every two weeks I'm trying to change the batteries out again and sometimes I come home and I'm locked out my own house cuz I didn't know the battery was low I feel like I just changed the batteries. Sometimes I'll be out in my yard the door automatically locks and the battery below and not able to get back in my house

Disappointing purchase so far. The batteries died in a months time. If I have to change the batteries 12 times a year, this product is not worth its premium price point. Also the wifi bride continually goes offline and you'll know because it alerts you every time it happens. I bought the insurance on it too. I may be contacting the geek squad soon. I should have went with another lock.
