We absolutely love this new door lock. Because it's the control and the ability to secure and unsecure our front door come in the other room or from Halfway Around the World. Being able to control the access and to know if the front door has been opened we're locked and unlocked is amazing

We have been recently upgrading our house to a digital home. This lock is great, the Bluetooth auto unlock is by far my favorite upgrade. We are a Google home and this Yale lock integrated without issue.

Glad I bought this. I love the luxury of not having to fumble with my house keys. There is a key that comes with it though. I have used this for about 4 month and haven’t had to change the batteries yet.

The best product for my kids to get into the house after school without me fearing them losing my house key.. bonus I can unlock my house from anywhere remotely

awesome product make sure your door is straight or it latches right cause if it doesn’t it will unlock itself you can always use your key to lock and it has a few settings and you can also make it work with google nest just need another chip

We chose this model because we wanted all the functionality and benefits of a smart lock, but still wanted to be able to use keys to get in should our power or WiFi go out. This lock does just that and also integrates seamlessly with Google Assistant, Alexa, and Siri.

Great lock for AirBNB and automation. Only thing missing is the feature of being able to rekey the Lock (like a Kwickset) and that would have made it a perfect 5 star review. Otherwise good buy and lock.

BEWARE!!! The Yale app and this lock are a HUGE security risk!!! Case in point: After receiving help from Yale tech support just now, I’ve learned that if someone ever closes the door and shakes the internal wireless module loose (even slightly), the module will lose connectivity. But, that’s the not worst part. Once the module loses connectivity, the app continues to report the last state the lock was in. Today, the app showed that the door was locked, when it was, in fact, unlocked. This is a HIGE security risk, since the user is led to believe that the door is locked, when it is not. What the app should do is report that the status is unknown, due to its inability to connect to the wireless module. This is poor design from a company that markets a product meant to provide security to home owners. This is the single worst scenario and one all home owners should be concerned about. I’m surprised Yale continues to sell their locks along with flawed software. This app and the Yale lock have been out for quite a while now. How this flaw hasn’t been addressed yet is beyond me. Both should be avoided at all cost!! I am trashing this risk of a security solution and will invest in a more secure and reliable one.

The setup with the hub was a little complicated, but once it was all said and done, this lock works very well. I have friends that have been using the same model for a few years and I have had envy ever since. I am very please with the purchase.

Awesome door lock. Love how I can just issue a code to the kids instead of needing to make multiple keys for each of them and if needed can change the codes at anytime.

Good lock. Takes a bit of learning curve with the app. August connect can be frustrating as any connected device with one button can be. Overall happy with the purchase. Can see any change in the door locked and or unlocked.

Great lock and great price. Bought during Black Friday sales and this beat the prime day deal significantly. Great features and connectivity. Integrates with HomeKit and Alexa. Does not have quick rekey like Kwikset smart lock systems.

The Yale Assure wi-fi deadbolt is the coolest door lock I’ve seen so far. Installation was essentially plug and play. I had to adjust the plate on the jam due to a bad prior installation and to make the lock work properly. This was not the fault of the lock which is actually designed to work with slight variations in spacing. The lock set includes the base touch screen lock, a wi-fi module, August Home connect module and a DoorSense sensor to determine if the door is open or closed. I installed the lock, wi-fi and home connect module, I didn’t install the door-sense module. Once the deadbolt is installed you need to program the lock. This was very ease since the lock talks to you, even so, its good to have the brief instructions to follow along with. After initial programming, you need to install the August app on your smart phone to setup the wi-fi module which was just as easy. It is important to go through the app once you install wi-fi as some of the defaults may not be what you are looking for, like the remote lock and unlock. Having your front door open automatically as you arrive home is one the neatest things. You can also program entry codes for family and friends and have them expire, just like your hotel room key. When they overstay their welcome, they can’t get back in. I imagine this is also good if you are an Airbnb owner. The August Home Connect module allows you to connect to Google and Alexa (along with a host of other services) so you can simply say “Google, lock the front door” and its done. You do have to set up a pin to have Google unlock the door however. My only complaint about the Yale Assure deadbolt was the lack of printed instructions. Everything was done through the August app, including installation instructions for the modules. I would recommend this lock to anyone simply for its coolness factor alone

Overall, great features that integrate with smart home. However, one of the main features with this lock is the ability to enable the Auto Unlock feature. I have been unable to get a consistent Bluetooth signal to the lock for auto unlocking. I use August connect on other locks in the house and can get consistent signals. The specific location I am using this lock seems to be having trouble getting and maintaining a connection. I am going to keep trying to relocate the Connect, and will update if I am successful at establishing a consistent signal.

This lock is perfect for my needs. You can unlock it remotely, to allow somebody access. I like the auto-lock feature especially, no more wondering if we locked the door. I also like how this one still has the keyed cylinder, in the event the batteries are low.

I like the lock once it is set up. Had trouble with both locks registering the master pin and connecting to wfi. I had to call customer service for help.

Great Lock. Fairly straight forward to install and easy to use. It is worth noting that you may have to make the hold in the door larger if you are using older locks, so some drilling may be required.

Love this lock... I will say that the deadbolt was larger than the hole in my door though. I had to use a drill bit to bore the hole deeper. Besides that, it has been great.

With my son always loosing keys and half the city possibly having found the lost keys, I decided to invest into this smart lock. I was at first intimated by the installation but after taking my time the pieces just fit together.

This lock wasn’t too bad to setup - I stumbled on the network module component, which I called their support to assist with. After that, controlling it from devices like phones, Alexa’s etc was easy to setup and it looks great!
