Works great when it actually does what it’s supposed to. Installation would have been easier if my door was aligned a little better. Make sure your door and strike plate are perfect prior to installing. Touch pad sometimes doesn’t react when I first press it. That is annoying. And also when unlocking, after entering the code the bolt slides in and out and I get an error flash on the screen. Making my to re enter my code once or twice more. Really strange and super annoying when standing in the cold trying to get in. Would have expected better for the price.

I no longer have to carry my key. I can unlock my front door from my car. When my kids or grandkids come for a visit, I don't need to go to the door to let them in.

Ordered as part of a smart-house build. Works well integrating with Alexa. Only issue is it is giving me an intermittent false jam signal when unlocking the door even though it is not jammed.

Works properly, but having to cover the screen to rest, or set to unlock is very awkward to use. Would be better just to have a slideable cover or a simple side touch to activate touchscreen.

Wanted to upgrade to a smart lock but was scared to not have a key if I didn’t have electricity. This gave me peace of mind. Love it!! So much potential with the smart lock.

Install was a bit difficult but it’s because the existing kick-plate wasn’t aligned correctly even with the old lock. I called Yale customer service and they walked me through the set up via Face time. Great lock and great customer service!

This is an attractive lock with nice features. Pretty easy to set up, although there were a few hiccups that slowed the process down.

Works really well but set up is a bit confusing due to multiple apps from august and Yale. Follow the steps in order and set up sensor at the time of lock install otherwise have to reset the lock to set it up

Overall good lock. Having some difficulties with Auto Unlock feature but I believe that is due to human error and not the device itself.

Second time I’m purchasing this lock for another home. I love how it hives me profile settings per user and works with wifi to tell me if the door opens, closes, locked or unlocked. I can also unlock remotely.

Great buy. Had to return the first order because it was missing the module. Check your box before installing.

I replaced my Schlage smart lock with this one. I wanted to be able to send virtual keys. The set up is a bit tricky. What I do not like is that I cannot create codes from my smart phone.

This product is great and do recommend to anyone who wants that added home security without paying monthly fees

Solid components, great features. Really like the idea that you can not only see remotely that the lock is engaged, but if the door was not properly closed, and left ajar

Great smart lock. However technically you need to ensure you read the instructions so you can connect the smart lock to your phone. Other than that A+ Device

The lock is fine, good quality, does the job. However, I bought it for connecting to Alexa and Bluetooth. The August app that it uses for connecting to Alexa will not work properly...several complaints on reviews. I really hope all the complaints and bad reviews causes the app producers fix their app.

Love this smart lock. Been working flawlessly. Had my very handy, handyman install this for me as it was above my pay grade. The software is excellent. Highly recommend.

Outstanding I have been using the Yale- Smart Lock for around 4 months now and with all the food traffic it probably locked itself three or four times a day and the battery has not gone dead yet keys are the thing of the past.

looks good, have to install still. bought the yale/nest lock and had a difficult time connecting to the google home app, so trying this one.
