    Great smart lock. Has the key functionality and coded so the kids do not have to have a key. Can be controlled with Alexa and by app.

    This lock goes through 4 AA batteries about every 6 weeks which seems like a lot. Also, it automatically locks even though we have it set not to in the app, which probably contributes to battery usage.

    Setting it up with August was a pain and nobody can figure out the wake feature where you have to actually touch the pitch black screen to see the buttons. Also, to lock it you press the logo, or anywhere, or your whole hand on the screen. None work all of the time. Try explaining that to a friend on the way out the door.
