It s a nice luck and I love its color It’s very reliable but the only issue I have with it is that it’s numpad is not sensitive enough sometimes I have to enter the passcode like 3 times before it gets it right!

I've installed a couple other non-smart (keypad buttons only) deadbolts and they've been great. I decided to try this one to make use of the network capability. This lock installed just as easily as the others and it looks great on the door. I had to adjust the strike plate just slightly to prevent the Yale from saying it detected a jam. Even though I couldn't really feel it bind when I turned it manually, it was just enough to affect the motor turning it. Once I cleared that up, everything worked great. Next, I installed the smart module and followed the setup directions in the August app. It took a minute or so to install a firmware update, then I had to reboot the module. After that, I was able to connect automatically via bluetooth and control the lock from the app, or see the current status. After installing the wifi bridge, I could then do all that from anywhere. I really like the touchscreen instead of having physical buttons on it. However, you do need to keep the finger smudges wiped off so people can't see what buttons are touched. The only downside to the touchscreen and network module may be the reduction in battery life compared to my non-smart deadbolts. Time will tell how they compare. But for the look, the ease of use, and the remote capability I'd definitely go with this lock for my other doors.

All of the useful "smart" features of this lock, such as auto-lock and auto unlock, are very delicate. It will work for a week or two, then suddenly stop. It will need to be reconfigured or reset and it will work for a short time again. It also struggles to maintain its calibration so it thinks it is open when it is closed, or locks when the door is open. For the approximately 20% of the time that it works it is great. I would avoid.

Easy setup. Allows me to control access to my home from anywhere.

WORST MISTAKE EVER BUYING THIS! I want my money back. Installing it was easy, connecting it was easy, but a week after that, it was a complete nightmare. I wish I had listened to other reviews about it stopping and starting and disconnecting randomly, etc. I thought mine would be different. This is a WASTE OF MONEY. I bought this to make the experience for my AIRBNB guest better, but it's only caused a big headache.

You can open the door wherever you are with internet access.
