First attempt at smart locks and this is great. Easy to install but you May need to call the number for installation help setting the codes because they are not correct in the directions but they are helpful On the phone and knew the issue / solution right away. Allows you to check if door is closed and can lock remotely if interested. Great for kids to have a code instead of a key and easy to reprogram codes if you feel they may have been compromised.

I previously owned the August 3rd generation smart lock with a lot of the same automated features. I can say with certainty that the Yale Smart lock is superior. The external facing Keypad is great for letting in guests without needing to supply a spare key. The Geo Fencing for Auto-Unlock works 100% of the time. It's great when coming home with a handful of groceries! Will considering purchasing one for the main entrance!

It is amazing how convenient this lock is and how it ha had a positive impact on our daily lives. We no longer need to make sure our keys are with us as we can lock/unlock key-free. Remote locking/unlocking to enable workers or others passage into the house is certainly a positive and much better than the traditional key-under-the-mat technique we all know! Definitely are pleased with the purchase and ease of use.

This lock is everything I wanted! It does all the smart things I wanted and looks super sleek. It works great and there hasn’t been any issues so far. The only thing I can’t figure out is why I can’t connect it to my HomeKit with my iPhone. Not a deal breaker but I would’ve liked it to seamlessly connect. I think I just have a defective one but the smart lock itself is an amazing buy. Would recommend to anyone thinking about buying one.

The door lock is really easy to use and was very simple to put in. You can change or add codes right from your phone!

This looks so nice on the door and was really easy to install and set up. Awesome that I don't need a key anymore and can lock my door from anywhere! Love it!

Love this lock! Remote open and closing, key and touchscreen. Great purchase, easy to use and Geek agent did a great job installing.

Very happy with this purchase. I have purchased other key pad locks and this is amazing. I can unlock and lock through the app on my phone, with the sensor I also get notifications everytime the door opens, locks or unlocks and you can also program it for which user unlocked or locked. The battery is easy to change, easy to install the whole lock and does not leave any finger prints on the numbers. My husband likes the option of being able to use a key as a back up if battery runs out and you get locked out of the house!

Installation is easy and lock feels very secure. Smart features such as auto-unlock and temporary access are really nice to have. Totally worth it!

I bought this lock as a gift for someone that just bought an investment property and was going to use it for AirBnb. It was pretty easy to install and it's been super convenient for the person to give access to each guest. The only "issue" is that it makes strange noises every now and again which aren't very easy to troubleshoot. Other than that, it's been a great purchase.

Easy instructions, keypad responds well, lock has no issues so far. Bit battery hungry product though.

I do like this lock very much, but I had some difficulty installing it - albeit some of that was because of my spouse who thought he didn't need to read directions. Once I checked a couple of things on Youtube, and read the instructions myself, it was all good. I do like the feature that unlocks the door when I arrive home. Very handy.

This lock works great. I previously had another smart lock that was keyless. The lock broke and i had no way to get into the house if I wanted to keep the door locked. I bought this lock to replace that one and it’s fantastic. It works with my HomeKit, google home, and pairs with my Apple Watch and car to open the door as soon as i pull into my driveway. Best part about this smart lock is i can still use a key if for any reason the automated features stop working.

I love how I can unlock my house from away so that my brothers can feed my pets while I’m on vacations. When I have a car filled with groceries, unlocking home from vehicle is convenient for me. I love how I don’t have to give my master pin away but give codes to my close friends and family members and can monitor who goes in and out my house. And having the option of deleting their code at anytime is cool too. I strongly recommend this one with the key option. Just Incase our area has a power or internet outage. I still have a key for back up.

After having it for 2 years, the lock is very flaky. It has been offline several times and unable to reboot remotely. Fortunately, my property manager was able to reboot it with bluetooth on site. Beware if you are using this remotely.
