Looks slick. Easy to install. Easy to use as stand alone. Haven't been able to get connected to a hub or anything yet. Wish it would connected with a hub.

As many reviews point out the instructions for the set up are not complete. The most important thing they don't tell you is the first thing you need to know, how to "wake up" the touch screen. One finger won't do it like other locks. You have to use the back of your fingers on the whole pad. If you figure this out you can go ahead and set up. The unit I purchased would not connect to Smartthings hub so it had to be replaced. The second one hooked up fine.

Have had this for years at my house and bought it for family. Its an easy install but be careful to read instructions when setting up in the app. It can be confusing using the app

Yeah programming took some time and the instruction took some time to understand. Installation was easy and the lock looks great and works great.

This is a great addition to our SmartThings we use in our home. It works seemlessly with our smart home. I like this model more than the Schlage one we have on a different door. The Yale has a smaller footprint than our other lock. Very easy to use and setup. I would absolutely buy again.

I enjoy this lock. It was easy to install physically on the door and to connect to our z wave alarm system. All user codes for our alarm system downloaded to the lock as well. Glad we purchased this lock and it has made our life easier with knowing when the lock is unlocked and who unlocked it.

Quiet, easy to install, works great with smartthings and Alexa to lock and unlock the doors automatically and secure your house. Touch panel is sleek and easy to lock and unlock. Looks great!

I was a little worried based on some of the reviews that I was going to have a very difficult time installing the lock. All in all though I had it installed within 30 minutes and it has run perfectly since. Great lock, easy to use and we never have to carry house keys.

It was easy to install, setting code was a little difficult. The batteries it came with didn't last long.

Lock itself is nice. My main issue is programming and the fact you need a hub to use Alexa which they do not tell you. Also the directions for programming are HORRIBLE, they don’t tell you how to wake the screen up. Once I figured that out I went back and tried to program and still would not work correctly. Other than that it works.

Easy to install. Need sometime to figure out the setup of the nest connect.

So I purchased this to see how it would compare to the first gen august smart lock. Overall I prefer the august smart lock due to its Bluetooth capabilities and geofencing. However with the august smart lock, you would have to buy a keypad to be able to enter codes and a device that connects it to the internet Vs the yale, in which you would need a smarthub such as smartthings. Some of the Cons Auto Lock is limited to only one option 30 seconds. If you have to get the mail or get something from your car, you need to re enter the code. I paired this device with smartthings and the geofencing does not work that good. Overall I would recommend getting the yale T1L lock that has a Bluetooth option. If you are looking for a lock that just has a keypad and will work reliable with long battery life this is for you. If you are looking for a smartlock, stay away from this product.

I like the fact that I have the ability to lock and unlock even if I'm away from home. Also, at times I need to give people access by giving them a special acess code and that saves me time. Overall a good product that does what it says.

Easy to install but I did have a difficult time adding multiple PINs.

The touchscreen is not made of decent quality materials. The screen does start to show signs of use after a short amount of time. You can see little cracks where the numbers are. Anyone could walk up & try to figure out your code based on this.
