If I go to the receiver and run it through a different functions TV stereo movie etc. it seems to solve the problems but I shouldn’t have to do that. We were not having this problem to begin with

Nice unit with good sound

Wish it had a throughput feature so I didn't have to turn it on just to watch TV. I realize I could rewire my cables to do it but its a pain to get the TV off the wall and move my entertainment cabinet for access to connections. Also wish it wouldn't switch inputs so fast. When casting to the TV from my computer it'll switch to AV and when I switch it to the TV it kicks me out of casting.

Quality Receiver

It has more features than I need. My son likes the easy access to the front USB port to charge his "wireless" Xbox controller batteries while continuing to play.

Great deal on a fantastic receiver

Paid just under $500 for it on clearance and with a price match (thank you Best Buy for the deal!). I bought this and a middle of the line Yamaha receiver 675 or 685 I believe. The pioneer was just stronger and had more bass. Yes the transformer does click occasionally to save power. It doesn’t really bother me that much and doesn’t happen but maybe a couple of times per movie.
