I have owned quite receivers but this is my first Yamaha. Simply excellent performance. Noticeable difference in sound quality with the same speakers.

This Yamaha Receiver is an excellent stereo for the money. I listen to CDs, records and tapes with this unit. The sound is exceptionally good. Excellent receiver for the money.

Excellent low-cost receiver. Easy to use with great dynamics and sound quality. Yamaha has a neutral, tight sound.

My only complaint with this unit is you have to scroll through all of the input sources instead of a separate button on the remote for each one. Otherwise, setup was rather easy and the sound meets my expectations.

Set up was great. The remote from my directv shuts off the receiver. Haven’t watched a movie yet but will once my blue ray player come in

I bought this receiver to replace my high-end receiver that was struck by lightning. I could not be happier with This receiver and it was on sale At a good price

This receiver has all of the features that I wanted, especially for my hubby to watch tTV in one room and me to listen to music in another...all at the same time.

Bought it for a friend who had a brand new house with infinity speakers already installed.. it was a simple hook up and sounded great.

This unit was easy to set up and has great surround sound. Like the wireless internet capability also. Much better than the older model this one replaced.

Excellent sound system with great clarity. Instructions were decent, but simple enough to figure things out with settings menus.

I love being able to enable all my media devices using the universal remote. With the remote I can change from television watching to listening to the radio, accessing by DVD player, displaying my computer screen on the TV monitor or even listening to music via a bluetooth access. The GEEk Squad came into my home respectfully masked and did a great job customizing the remote to my needs and cleaning up the whole media system by eliminating outdated devices and bundling wires. This was my first receiver and the ease of navigating and set up was a breeze. Looks really awesome and has plenty of connections on the back.

I’ve had Yamaha receivers for years, they are great sounding quality equipment. This unit works with wired or wireless speakers.

I love this product. It was easy to set up and a breeze to use. I’m using as a 7.1 but will upgrade to 7.2 shortly. A great buy for the price.

We bought this receiver to replace our Harmon Kardon and so far are pleased with its performance. It also has all the latest features so we're exploring all the possibilities it has to offer. So far....it's so good.

This receiver has the best audio ever, I love it every time I watch a movie this AVR it is truly amazing.I would recommend it to anyone.

I was concerned it would be difficult to get this new unit running with the rest of my system but it went together well and is working great
