Very pleased with this CD player. My previous player was a carousel, and the tracking on this machine is so much better. Recommend highly.

excellent player, was experiencing trouble with my Onkyo multi-disc player, this machine had no problem playing discs the other no longer could.

Very nice unit. Upgraded the firmware to latest version and even my old imperfect discs play crisply

This is an excellent CD Player, It matches up well with my Yamaha S202 receiver.

The unit operated perfectly usb drives worked perfectly but unit was too big.

This CD Player sounds great until there is a weird static noise occasionally. Tried the very bizarre update that is supposed to take just a few minutes and it won't take. Update fails. Took unit up to Best Buy Geek Squad since I paid $75 for the extra Geek Squad protection. They said they don't know how to do updates on something like this and gave me a full replacement for a brand new unit. Had to pay another $75 for the Geek Squad protection on new unit and now waiting for a new unit. So, after 5 months I haven't been able to listen to even one full CD properly and paid $150 for Geek Squad protection that can't update it.

Nice CD looks great and sounds great. Nice player.

I exchange it for a Sony Blu ray unit instead but had to return it because could not set it up

I like Yamaha equipment and this disc player is no exception. Easy to hookup, easy to operate, and the remote controls all functions simply. Has played every disc I have put in it.

Im a big fan of Yamaha gear and this cd player did not disappoint. Sounds great, easy to use, and I didn’t need the software update. Very pleased, I am happy to recommend it.

Very nice CD player at a nice price. No frills, and easy to hook up and operate. I appreciate the excellent Yamaha build quality and clean sound with my old Harman Kardon receiver and JBL speakers.

Gift for my son in law. Exactly what he wanted. He hooked it up immediately and great sound.

Purchased this CD player 4 months ago. Recently started noticing frequent pops and clicks on brand new CDs. Installed the latest firmware update from Yamaha but this offered little to no improvement. Extremely disappointed with this product!

Easy to set up. Sound quality excellent. High output unit (hot). Error correction good but not exceptional.

Delivery was quick, product is excellent, price was competitive

Bought this and despite what online notices said about a skip problem being fixed at the "161 update" level as this device was, it still skipped. Immediately and repeatedly. I returned to B Buy and wonder if they will try to sell it again "open box" and still skipping. BAD. Beware.
