Great sound. The GUI for the settings is clunky and not as easy to use as Onkyo.

I had two Onkyo receivers die on me recently. I decided to try Yamaha and so far, so good.

Outstanding receiver for the price. My system never sounded this good with my old receiver.

I was forced to upgrade my 1 year old Yamaha receiver due to a speaker incompatibility which both Best Buy and Yamaha stood behind with the service plan. While I was not initially happy with the 2020 receiver being discontinued and having to change to the 2021 (as I had become accustomed to and familiar with the other), that quickly changed once I had the system installed. It's more intuitive than the previous model and still has all the same great features plus a few more. Kudos Yamaha! Great product!
