Issues Are Ironed Out

Not your Daddys yamaha receiver!

Great Receiver But Stopped Working

On the 5th day, it "popped" when I powered it on that that was all she wrote. Too bad as it's a nice receiver but Best Buy doesn't have any that I can replace it with. IF it weren't for this, I'd rate it 4 or 5 stars.

Stay away

My HDMI devices would sporadically not work through the HDMI out. I tried all the troubleshooting and even thought it might be my Xbox or TV….nope. Hours troubleshooting them revealed the true culprit - this POC. Look up reviews regarding HDMI issues before buying - highly recommend a different brand.

Weird Sound, fatiguing, not natural

Don't like how it processes the audio, even in Pure-Direct mode. Sound is fatiguing, over exaggerated sounds. Doesn't sound natural.

Great receiver except for radio stations
