Love it great sound loud and clean sound I'd recommend it

I had an RX-V675 which couldn't handle the newer HDCP and HDR pass-through. This unit resolved both those issues and happy with the sound.

Great sounding receiver. Gives perfect surround sound from all sources. Easy to set up and use. Works with my Comcast remote volume

we are pleased with the quality of this item. How ever we are waiting to see if it lasts longer than it's predecessor!

Yamaha - RX-V6A 7.2-channel AV Receiver with 8K HDMI and MusicCast - Black great upgrade for the price

This replaced an older RX-V467. Has several more inputs. Remote is much simpler but seem to have all the functionality at least for what i need. ARC works well. Smart functions are much improved. Seem to communicate with the tv, switching speakers when using receiver and back to tv when its off. Front panel controls take some learning, many less buttons than the old one. So far only my old blu-ray is the only thing that doesn't wish to work with it.

Sounds fantastic, easy to use and at a decent price. Had to give two stars because with 10months of average use, it will no longer turn on. Have to take it to Geek Squad to check it out.

Purchased the Yamaha RX-V6a out of the box in excellent condition. It was in excellent condition when it arrived and appears to work just fine. Contacting Best Buy for installation assistance through Geek Squad.

This receiver is as good as I expected when playing Dolby Atmos. The main concern I have is that it is difficult to know if it is playing in Atmos or not. Amazon 4k fire stick does not but Apple tv4k does. Wish that some of the features would get updates VRR and 8k. But overall a good system

bought this for Christmas for my dad with two tower speakers, speakers work great! AV Receiver is complete trash! worked for about two weeks then returned it for an exchange of the same unit because the EARC stopped working. I tried numerous different troubleshooting scenarios spent hours on this before I returned it,. like different HDMI cord that was brand new and higher quality didn't work also tried just an optical cord it didn't work either. when I exchanged it for a new unit it was even worse hooked up all my speakers it got no sound out of the box with both optical and HDMI hook ups again spent hours messing with all the settings even plugging it into a different TV and other possible scenarios to ultimately decided tonight that I will be returning this unit and going with a different brand of Receiver with hopes of not encountering the same problem. usually I'm impressed with yamaha, but they must have cut a lot of corners on this unit! Best Buy I highly recommend you stop selling this unit with hopes of saving other people the same headache !

The receive is excellent but the software leaves much to be desired. You have to use the app to set up rooms because the instructions with the receiver don't have any information. There is a lack of any instructions with the receiver and Yamaha online make it difficult to set up. But that should not discourage people from buying. It is worth the effort once you get the hang of it.

Everything works well as It should. Amazing sound! Movies or Music. This reciever will make your ears ring! Its loud and clear.
