Solid receiver in all aspects...........excellent sound quality with CD's, DVD's, Blu-Ray DVD's & 4K (discs or streaming). Also, has ARC/eARC HDMI. Had several Yamaha receivers and this might be the best I've had.

Seriously needed a new set up for my tv due to my sound bar that came with the tv was destroyed. This was one of my choices as an open box at the local store. It sounds so much better with speakers than the sound bar ever did. It is a little hard for my parents to understand the remote usage, but after showing them a few times it has become their new thing.

Great product! Sound was good and powerful. The 100 watts per channel comes across strong and clear. Plenty of bass and treble for the pickiest audiophile.

Every thing is great, i like the way is working strong and save power mode.

Yamaha makes a great receiver. This product provides great sound to my audio surround sound system. Love the sound, so easy to hear what is stated in movies and TV shows.

I can review what I didn’t use , plus I found out it’s entry level . I’ll upgrade to the Yamaha - AVENTAGE RX-A2A it’s more reliable and a better build .

Very easy to set up. Went from 5 channel Yamaha to 7. Wow! What a difference in the surround sound!

Absolutely amazing reciever.. power sleek, beautiful sounds no matter what mod your in.. Nvidia shield works flawlessly as well.. dont hesitate tongrab this one..

Setup was super simple. Everything connected easily and felt secure. The remote’s a breeze to use too.

A good product at reasonable price. Good sound quality. Easy to set up and calibrate to speaker set up. Ample inputs and outputs. Easy to use

User interface could be much better but it does produce really good sound once everything is set. There is a definite learning curve so you will have to be patient and do a lot of reading. Once everything is set the surround sound is awesome.

This receiver sounds great. I cannot recommend it yet because it feels as it is unfinished. A lot of the bells and whistles won't work until a future firmware update is made available. When using ARC it always defaults to TV input when turning on regardless of signal. This is super annoying and almost a deal breaker. If this gets a fix and future firmware arrives in a timely manner it may move this to a 4-5 star rating.

This receiver is spectacular. I purchased it knowing that Yamaha is the only company that make receivers that also makes music instruments. All the features are great music cast is great Apple play one of the best receivers out there.

Easy set up and great sound. Integrated easily with a Sony TV and DirectTV set up

Easy to set up, the different sound pre sets are nice and easy to try out and change in the app.

Overall a good receiver. Easy to set up and sounds great. Paired with Klipsch speakers.

Perfect sound and easy to operate love the multiple sound settings

I have tried Sony, Onkyo and Denon looking for a receiver that not only has the newest features but enough power to run a 7.1 Klipsch speaker setup with the grunt to really give me the powerful concert level sound pressure when I want it but also be able to play normal TV and movies well and I have to say this is the one it's rated at 100 watts per channel but definitely punches way above that and has all the features I want I'm telling you this is the one and it's got a good price at $650.00 out the door. look no further this is the one the menu is a little bit complicated but once you get used to it this is the one!!!
