My system

Out of coincidence, I talked to my nephew and he has the exact receiver and he loves it. It has a lot of features for the money. I’m replacing an Onkyo receiver,which is over 20 years old. My old receiver didn’t have hdmi inputs or outputs and has been acting up. Sorry I can’t tell you how it sounds yet because I’m rearranging living room and audio and video.

Upgraded from rx-v675

Too Complex

Disappointed

Had to give two stars because with 10months of average use, it will no longer turn on. Have to take it to Geek Squad to check it out.

Disappointing

I experienced random audio drop outs, would not do 4k/120, and would get stuck in straight mode. The app is also outdated and hard to navigate. I picked up a Denon 1800h and am much happier. It works flawlessly and sounds better.
