The excellent RX-V6A receiver performs very well. I have 5.1 surround sound but will be adding atmos speakers and another subwoofer in the near future. Plenty of power, easy to understand and install.

A very good receiver that is easy to use. I like the HDMI inputs and works well with the TV. The receiver also has two zones so works well with speakers in other rooms.

First AVR. I bought this based on specifications. There are a lot of settings. I would have appreciated a better guide or documentation in how to optimize the settings, or a user interface that would explain what each function does. Getting a Roku to display thru AVR to my projector is sometimes difficult. Eventually the screen lights up. The music cast app has been fun for listening to music from Amazon. Pretty cool I can turn on from another room but it’s a lot of clicks to select another genre, station, artist, song, etc. But it sends power to the speakers just like it says it will.

I got this product in Black Friday for my brother in law. I installed it and it worked but when using it with the Apple TV app it shuts down when it comes to watching certain movies that use a specific format. I wish this already had the most current firmware update but I have to download it and install it. It also didn’t come with the remote since it was an open box product.

An absolute steal for the price. Absolutely great sound, great amp and incredibly easy to use. The setup is kind of a pain and connecting to Internet could be easier, but besides that it’s a very solid receiver.

At first I did not like the setup out of the box, the display is small to read, after getting her set up the playback early using Van Halens Fair Warning album as the first music played, very happy with it performance, clean driven channels. I would recommend this for the price, its a very solid A/V receiver

I previously owned a Pioneer Elite, and this receiver is just as good as the previous one. Music is a 10/10, and movies are "excellent."

Very solid receiver. I prefer the menu system from my old pioneer elite. Settings are a little harder to navigate but I'm sure I will learn soon enough. As far as power goes it powers my speakers great. I do notice a better sound from my speakers but I still need to tweek some settings still. Definate must have for new gen gaming.

Good receiver but don't have the firmware update done. What I liked is my previous receiver was a Yamaha and all harmony remote works the same on the new one. Sounds very good and especially like the center channel how clear it is. Good surround too.

Man o man. This amp blows the doors off the other competitors. I’ve had the Sony for three years and it finally quit working. This Yamaha nails it. It blew the cobwebs out of my Polks. My Yamaha subwoofers came to life. It’s as if all my speakers were dormant for the past year. I have the 7.2 setup and 8k television. The television itself has changed thanks to the 8k HDMI cable. If you don’t have the 2.1 cable I would advise getting one in order to take advantage of the new technology coming from Yamaha. I recommend this amplifier to everyone looking for the latest technology. Go Yamaha!!! Well done!

The price was a little high in my opinion for this receiver. I set it up correctly several issues one you have to put it in party mode to get stereo sound or a fuller sound . When I would turn the TV on the system would go on automatically for me. I enjoy that the problem was the receiver would go full volume. It would be screaming at you with whatever was going on TV did not like that at all. When the volume was set where I liked it, it was a crisp sound as long as it was in party mode I did not like having to always push buttons to make this thing work at $800. It should be a little bit more plug-in play I can get a wireless surround sound system sound bar for 300 that does a better job

Excellent receiver with distortion-free output (cleaner than almost any amp I've heard) and easy setup. YPAO works great to customize speaker setup. I know there are some haters for the new design, but I like it. Small gripes: should have a detachable power cord, and still no timeline on when firmware will be ready for the HDMI 2.1 features.
