Now days people like use Bluetooth and air play But Bluetooth function doesn’t connect with my MacBook Pro 2018 ,sometimes connected while my I phone 12 pro connected with Bluetooth receiver and it’s show connected with my Mac Pro but there no music output.it’s very confusing .Also Yamaha manual Book has no Enough information about how to reset Bluetooth and airplay function.but while it’s play with my phone Bluetooth system I like the bit of the music..

The item was delivered to me in a very bad shape. The package was damaged and it did not come in it;s original box. It was delivered in a moving box and to my surprise, I was shocked to see the broken parts of the receiver and how badly the other parts were just thrown into the box and shipped to me. The box itself had a big hole on it's side so am not sure if any important part has gone missing enroute this item getting delivered. To be very frank, I never expected an expensive yamaha system to be packed in bubble wraps and sent out to the customer like that.

Is not worth what it costs, complicated manu and control

Pretty decent system. The base speaker is a joke! Will be looking to change out speakers in the near future.

Amplifier is decent, but speakers are low quality junk.

It's not worth the price, I'd save another 150 and get a Klipsch with an Onkyo receiver or something in that nature especially if you looking to listen to music with this system. The subwoofer is horrible it pops if you turn it up even half way, I have a Samsung sound bar that has a 7 inch subwoofer that blows this system away only difference is that this has surround speakers that again aren't good for music. If you turn then up to jam music they sound like they're going to blow and the distortion is unbearable. I'm highly disappointed, I'll be returning mine and seeing if I can just get some rear speakers for my soundbar. Don't waist your money on this it isn't worth maybe 150 bucks

A complete waste of money, one speaker stop working the whole system stop working, worse part was that it happened i would say 6 months. I went through the whole warranty process they were great! We got new speakers to replace the ones that were damaged. Guess what!? The system still didnt work. At this point i completely gave up it is not worth the money at all, you would think that if you spent so much money it would be reliable, complete opposite. Stay away!!

Cheep speakers too aggressive cross over in base . Not high quality. Best suited for music with lots of base and little treble .

Very difficult to set up. Had the wrong instructions in the box. Still can't connect to WiFi

I know better than to buy open box but I did and this unit lasted 2 months before blowing the center speaker. This as the unit went to full volume when turning it on. Yamaha will replace the center speaker and explained the steps to adjust the volume so it would not go to full volume. I had already completed the steps after the first volume incident and the unit continued to volume up. Oh well live and learn an expensive lesson.

One speaker went out after I purchased it in 3 days and they didnt want to replace it

When this arrived it was crushed so I had to go with a sonos thing. Really wishing the yamaha wasn't destroyed before it arrived.

Receiver to home theater stopped working one month after purchase and best buy completely refused to assist me in correcting the issue.
