Crap System Don't buy it!! DOES NOT deliver as expected.

I have searched a couple months for a replacement theater system, and watched this system and often read ongoing reviews. I was very pleased to find this system at a price within my budget, am very pleased with the ease in setting it up, and enjoying the surround sound. Thus far, I am pleased, and would recommend this system to others.

ordered as replacement for RCA surround sound system. sound is great. optimize the speakers with included microphone and sound is perfect. you can adjust how much bass you want at the sub-woofer

My 81 year old parents purchased this on Black Friday sale online and I agreed to set it up for them. The item was in stock and supposed to be ready the next day which was a Friday. Friday night they recieved a text for an unknown delay. After I attempted calling for days, I finally talked to an someone Indian that I could barely understand. She said the order was canceled and couldn't say why. I asked for a supervisor and then was disconnected. After many more calls with no answer I decided to take my mother to the store in Appleton, WI. The supervisor or super lier said it couldn't be found so order was canceled but didn't bother texting to let her know. It was showing online that it was there and we asked about it. The lies were flowing at this point and said it was totally unavailable. I showed him on my phone that it said they did have it and was starting to get annoyed. He had no answers, zero apologies, and said on his tablet saying it didn't make sense. I showed him again on my phone but now it was gone. WOW, that's kinda fishy I said. At this point I was very angry. My very elderly parents were so much looking forward to this. A simple apology might of went a long way but instead lies were all we were told. I've spent thousands and thousands here. Never again. Can't wait to see this shady outfit go out of business!!!!!!!

once it was set up, it sounds really good with TV, movies & music

The surround sound is great. If your more into music I would suggest this receiver. But for movies it's a yes.

This more than met my expectations! The sound quality is incredible.

Great system. The surround sound is truly immersive it filled a 1000sq foot basement.

Its too complicated. Great when its up and running, but press the wrong button on the remote and you get nothing, not even sound. Its ready for the blue can.

I purchased open box item, supposed to work fine but it does not. The Amplifier is not giving output for rear speakers. Unfortunately did complete setup after return window was closed.

Recently purchased, I must say, Yamaha quality has taken a serious dive... nothing redeeming about this system. Center channel worked for several minutes, then quit. Swapped an old JVC speaker and it worked fine. Yamaha Customer NO Service is USELESS, I would NOT recommend this product, VERY Disappointed...
