I like this set, it is a little wonky getting the TV to work through the receiver, I have to wait a few minutes for it to work and switch it back and forth from TV to Xfinity X1. The sound is good, I have to turn the subwoofer down to near zero because I live in an apartment.

The product was sold as an open box item, but "excellent." It was scratched and missing every item in the box except for the five speakers and the receiver. Still, the item works and was good value, just not as advertised. No complaints about the receiver or speaker quality, just the open box sale not being in the condition it was categorized as.

Great system, easy set up and looks great too.
Got a new LG oled works good with that too. The 8” sub sounds good fills house with bass. Would buy again.

Great system for the money and very easy to install. We just replaced our 15-year-old system with this Yamaha YHT-5960 system and not only sounds great, but it works well with our new smart TV.

I'm happy with my choice. I got exactly what I needed for my living room to convert it into a home theater experience. I paired it with some Sony floor speakers and they sound good. The receiver and subwoofer are very sleek and offer good features. The receiver is perfect. It has a Marantz quality and look that I like and can't fathom paying for. The subwoofer has good depth and enough punch; even for music like hip hop and techno. The rest of the speakers feel very... suspect, and I haven't even plugged them in. I will probably use them as random spares for a different receiver that's in another room.
Nearly $600-$700 for this is very expensive. I wouldn't recommend buying it new. Look for it used, in excellent condition, for around $350. The receiver itself is roughly $450, and $150 for the subwoofer.

The system was purchased as a theater type sound system for a mancave. Room is 24' x 24 '. Speakers to be suspended from the ceiling. So far set up was easy, sounds great. Only issue was the process needed to set up NET radio Pandora as you have to use the Music Cast app. Once connected all went well.

Works great. It’s entry level speakers but sounds good enough for my use. This whole system was on sale for less than just the receiver so I couldn’t help but buy and upgrade the speakers later.
