I still feel burned because when the membership first came out, it offered a "Buy 2 get 1 Free Switch Games" offer, as well at 15% off all eShop cards. Those offers lasted several days, so I bought the membership to use those discounts thinking they were permanent. However, after about a month, those offers disappeared, and there hasn't been any offers like that ever since. It makes me feel like a bait-and-switch. I do enjoy the free shipping, but honestly, that hardly justifies the cost of the yearly membership when that appears to be the main perk. Did I get my value's worth for this membership? Yes. Would I continue to renew? Most likely not, unless the frequency of the deals increase.
