My laptop purchase in March cost me $1099.99. The salesperson recommended a Best Buy membership for $49.99 and stated if any item went on sale after the purchase over the 60 days that I would receive a price adjustment. Apparently the computer went on sale for $799.99 the very next day. However, I didn't know it at the time. This weekend I went back to the store to get the price adjustment. I was told that I had to request the adjustment while the computer is on sale. Per your price match policy it states: "If we lower our in-store, online or app price during the return and exchange period, we will match our lower price, upon request." It does NOT say that it is necessary to request price match during the sale. I wish I had kept all of the packaging and I would have returned everything I purchased. Over the years I have purchased nearly all of my computers and peripherals for my business. NO MORE! You don't stand by your policy as written.

This membership really is freat value, just for the repair services alone!

I had called about a price change on 2 LG Stand By Me TVs. Price had dropped from $1,199 to $799 each. The associate suggested that if I join the membership, I would be eligible for a refund of around $800, even though I was joining after the purchase. I wax thrilled and so I joined on the call with the associate. She calculated the refund and said I should receive in a week to 10 days. No refund was received. I called back around a month later, no record of the discussion about the discount. So I feel that I was possibly taken advantaged of by an associate that is likely compensated by selling more memberships. If that wasn’t the reason, I don’t understand why my conversation with the original associate wasn’t documented somewhere in the system. If I could cancel the membership and get my money back I would. Just not worth the effort to get $50 back at this point. The experience has left a very bad taste regarding doing business with Best Buy in the future. I’ll just buy online.

I get a real piece of mind knowing that I'm getting a great deal as well as access to fantastic technical help if needed.

I would recommend getting the membership because it has good benefits like extra savings and a longer window for returns.

I get great deals all the time on anything from small appliances to TV’s this is the best value for any membership I have

There have been some savings. I like the notifications. Not a great deal 9f savings
