I am so thankful I got the plus membership! Not only does it practically pay for itself, but the benefits are too good to miss out on.

I know that best buy will back my purchase and repair or replace if needed. That makes me more confident when purchasing from Best Buy

This membership allowed me to save money on large purchases which made a big difference. Worth it

I was hard-sold this membership in the store by an inexperienced sales person who botched the order, the schedule, the contact and the linking of two orders. I spent hours on end talking to different best buy support folks on the phone ALL of whom gave differing reasons for the botched orders, and updates for the installation all of which ended up being incorrect. It is an experience worse than any I have encountered with any retailer. Avoid Best Buy at all costs, as they have no idea in store and remotely how to get a basic TV installed. I requested call back from store I purchased at 5 times as this was offered as a solution...., never got a call.

a useful thing, sometimes you come across really good discounts, and they give out gift cards that you can spend on the desired product

The total makes sense but the plus doesn’t really give you any benefits, the “exclusive” deals are only worth it if you buy stuff VERY often (like every other week) since you only save like $3-9.

Without a doubt this membership offer great deals and competes with Amazon however when I purchased a gift for Mother’s Day. My item kept getting delayed for reasons that don’t make sense even though I made the purchase in store to get delivered and made sure it’s going to the correct address. The last update I received was that my mother’s gift was at Best Buy warehouse in Chino and can’t be delivered. I contacted customer service and they couldn’t do much and advised that I repurchase the gift but at that time it was too late to purchase again because it’s out of stock. The whole process was frustrating and taking into account that this was suppose to be a present for my mother. I figure that this membership would have higher standards than Amazon since it’s roughly the same price. With their inconsistent delivery, updates and mediocre customer service I’m considering not renewing my membership.
