||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently visited the Best Buy in Barboursville, WV, to purchase a new phone as a Christmas gift for my mother, and unfortunately, it was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Best Buy. When I asked for assistance, the first employee I spoke with was busy and directed me to another employee at the Geek Squad counter. While the second employee was initially helpful, he was constantly interrupted by other customers and employees during our transaction. This lack of focus made the experience frustrating and unprofessional. What should have been a straightforward purchase took over an hour to complete. At one point, the employee helping me left the register to assist another customer, forcing me to ask yet another employee to finish my sale. I almost walked out several times due to the delays and interruptions. This level of service is unacceptable, especially for a store known for customer support. I hope the management at this location addresses these issues so other customers don’t face the same frustrations. I’d be happy to provide more details if needed.
