This membership is of great value and exclusive membership value and protection plans are good to have.

When I purchased this TV and installation at Methuen store, I was never informed about the charging $49.99 for membership. I need this refunded to my account. I can't beleive this wasn't told to me at the store.

I purchased Best Buy Plus membership to help me get access to pre-order hard to obtain merchandise, like Nintendo Switch 2 console, or NVIDIA GPUs …. And the membership has been totally worthless in helping get access to anything that is “hard to get”… like the Membership advertises. In fact, I don’t really understand what I am getting for the $50 bucks I spent for the Membership…. It is just the same benefits in free shipping, like I already get w/ Amazon Prime …. So this is a totally worthless purchase and I will not renew this membership next year unless something changes with the membership where it actually does something for me that I can use …..

This membership is of real value. I feel that the guarantee of replacement makes the membership worth purchasing.

I bought a surface studio 2 today for my son . Normally I couldn't best support like this before.

I would caution anyone against buying this membership if you have even an inkling that you might want the upgraded tier. There is no simple way to upgrade at all. You have to “refund” the membership you initially bought and then re-buy at the higher level. Despite how cumbersome this is it would still be serviceable if they didn’t count any dollar you saved using the membership against your refund. So if you got something on sale with the member price they take what you saved away from your refund. This makes no sense to me as you’d have the savings regardless of what tier membership you had. For a straight up cancellation sure but to upgrade a remain a paying member it just seems like a gouge tactic. The one star is for poor planning, or maybe it’s designed this way all along to get people to spend extra money who knows. Most memberships have ways to upgrade for a prorated amount and until Best Buy gets their act together I don’t recommend the Plus.

Great Membership for Someone Always Buying stuff for best buy
