Plus Membership is waste of money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased a Plus membership due to discount on a largish purchase. However, I found very little use for this membership and the rewards I earned from purchases were essentially taken away by Best Buy when they shipped the wrong product and wouldn't credit the rewards I used as part of that purchase. Because of that, I canceled the membership renewal. Best Buy canceled the membership effective immediately but gave zero prorated refund, despite what they state in the posted T&C. So, basically, Best Buy has become a company that doesn't seem to value customers very highly and is very comfortable keeping customers' money even when not living up to their commitments. I don't see any point in paying an annual fee for a membership for a company I have no intention of doing business with again.

I joined expecting a $50 discount on an item I had my eye on, but when I purchased the item I received only a coupon for a future purchase. It reminded me of the Apple strategy. I don't think I will renew. I don't buy enough to make it worthwhile.
