Disappointing.

I bought a Wi-Fi router for my new home and then had Google fiber installed a few weeks later that included a mesh Wi-Fi setup. So I went to return the router, which I had owned for just over 2 weeks, and they told me they couldn't return it because it was outside of the 2 week return window. I was frustrated and asked if they could make an exception. They told me no, UNLESS I bought the Best Buy Plus membership. If I bought the membership, then I magically have 90 days to return items. I used to really like Best Buy and was planning on buying our new TVs and all of our Sonos speakers through them, but not after this. Incredibly disappointing and all of my friends and family felt the same way when I told them what happened.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It's a decent membership but it used to be included for having the credit card and also spending a certain amount per year (I believe it was between $1500-$3000). Some of the deals are good but I think next year I won't renew it and just stick to other retailers. Don't really see the value proposition especially when earning points and having to return an item that had points attached and you get excuses from different team members why you can't get them back. Doesn't seem that consumer friendly.
