||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My Best Buy Plus may work for some people, but not for me. I took my computer to a Best Buy Geek Squad. They talked me into a Best Buy Plus membership, so I paid the money. I thought they were a repair shop. They're not. They run your computer through some kind of software malware scrubber or Windows glitch fixer and give it back the next day. My laptop had a cracked screen. I thought they would replace it. They didn't. They said it had to be sent to their repair center in Kentucky, and IF they could find a new screen I could have it back in four to six weeks, I said, well, call and see if they can get a new screen. Nope. Can't do that. Gotta send it to Kentucky without knowing whether Kentucky can fix it. So I decided to try to send it back to the manufacturer (HP) for repair, as I had in the past, They don't do repairs on their own products any more. They've farmed that out to, guess who? Best Buy. Then I decided to buy a new radio for my car. Gotta make an appointment at another Best But way on the the outside of town. Called there to make an appointment. Soonest they could get to it was five weeks out. Took the radio back and they did give me my money back.

I was lied to, it's a 50$ membership fee not 50$ off a purchase like i was told. Wasn't the first time at best buy. Also you need to stop re wrapping dated routers and internet supplies that you know aren't compatible. This place is really crooked.
