I probably will not purchase anything else from Best buy again do to whatever this was suppose to do for me. $50. lost in my book. I do not feel like this is a good company any longer.

However when I tried to order, it blocked me from completing the purchase since the preorder window had closed. When I originally spoke to the BestBuy rep about the benefits of buying a membership, she assured me that it would allow me to preorder the Switch before it was released to the public on 6/5/25. So now I wasted $50 on the membership and can’t preorder the game console as a gift for a family member. I feel that BestBuy misled me about the membership and will take action to obtain a refund.

Instead of providing the details I needed, the agent focused on hard-selling me their Plus Membership. The only appealing part of the membership was the extended price match period for items purchased. Guess what? When Black Friday arrived which is the most crucial time for price matching, I discovered that Best Buy enforces an "exclusionary period" during which you cannot price match items with other stores! This critical detail was never disclosed to me, despite me specifically telling the agent that price matching was my primary concern. It gets even worse. I was assured that I could request a refund for the membership at any time. However, when I tried to get a refund, they only offered a small partial refund instead.
