Instead, I was later told (near Black Friday, when I called to ask for the card) that I may be eligible to accrue points if and only if I am using a Best Buy card. I am giving this 2 stars, because I got a discount on the original item that I bought when I signed up in the first place.

Not only did we not get help (the person didn't check the battery, and after waiting an hour, he then said he had to start all over again), but we had to buy something we don't need.
