I’m done with Best Buy
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I paid $49 for this plan to save some money on a new tv. Unfortunately Best Buy has completely dropped the ball on my tv delivery — they missed the delivery window without a call, and left me hanging without a clear idea when it will be dleivered, despite several hours on the phone with customer service. I feel like i was lied to by the sales associate who knew i needed the tv by a certain date. And i’ve been left hanging by Best Buy customer service and delivery staff. So yeah I saved a few bucks on my tv purchase but honestly I’m so frustrated with Best Buy that I don’t see myself being a customer in the future. I’d rather pay a few $ more to get better treatment.

He said something about the price coming down within 60 days, and would be able to price match that to get some cash back. I think he was thinking, or wanted me to think, of Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales. The 60 Day cancellation window will fall short of that by about 3 weeks. I am going to cancel this membership.

Disappointed in lack of coverage, communication

This wasn't mentioned to me until I brought my computer back to the store for repairs. I was told to contact Best Buy corporation for an extension of the coverage but I was told they wouldn't due the extention.

I do not need to spend $50 dollars on a plan if I am not really getting any real savings. I wish to cancelled the plan.
