I got this membership while purchasing my laptop and received a nice discount. A few weeks later I went in for a PS5 controller and I noticed it wasn't on sale for members. The cashier explained that the Best Buy Plus offers other benefits besides the obvious initial price markdown.

This membership is good to have in special if you do shopping here at Best Buy you can save some money in few items I save 200$ in a LG 45 inches oled monitor.

First off, the girl who “sold” me this membership never told me it was a membership. I was buying a PC and she tells me she can get me 60 days of being able to return the pc if I don’t like it. Never said it was a paid ANYTHING. I didn’t notice or was informed it would cost me money until I went to check out and noticed a $50 charge for Best Buy plus. Instead of tricking people into buying it, maybe just be forward about it? I kept it only to have the 60 day return period but it would have been nice to be told from the start that it was not free it was a paid membership.
