Purchased the tv wall mount, new dvd cables and a dehumidifier (at different times) and the discounts I saved as a member have almost justified the cost of the membership.

It gives you peace of mind to know you have some place to go to if a problem arises. If you only shop for items once every other year, then membership may not be beneficial.

I had to spend many hours, including a trip to the store where I bought the computer, where they were unable to help me. While I eventually get a refund for the amount by which the computer went on sale, the amount of time and aggravation was significant.

In spite of it's bipolar service levels I do love Best Buy and I do want to support it, get it if you feel the same.
