Its a solid platformer with fresh ideas that rarely get recycled, however the only downer is the music, its not as good as whooly world but its far better that other previus entries except the original yoshis island game. The musics really not bad though, it just rarely steps outside the main theme, its fittingly atmospheric alot of the time, but you may get a bit tired of the game if you try and run through it all in a week. Take your time with this one, its a chill platformer so dont rush it and youll probably enjoy it. Its not for everyone though and is more on the childish side even moreso than usual. As far as challange goes its not brutal or unfair, there are some segments where i got more than a few game overs but i wasnt pulling out my hair over it or anything.

The Mario franchise cannot lose especially with this hit. My kids love it and in long as it has no violence or blood and the seeing to really enjoyed this game thoroughly then this is the definitely 2 thumbs up from me.

I bought it for my 4 year old Nephew and he absolutely loves it. It's not to difficult for him and we can both jump in and play together. The game is super adorable and even I can hold my attention towards playing it.

Yoshi is back with hand crafted levels filled with fun. All of Yoshi's moves are back, in a 2.5D adventure.

Fun for the casual gamer...can get a little challenging in some levels but overall it’s worth the buy

Purchased this for my six year old son, and he loved every minute of it. The game has an easier mode for young children that makes it significantly harder (maybe impossible) to lose lives. This allowed my son to never get frustrated and proceed through the entire game until beating it, which is saying a lot. Not a lot of games give that level of consideration to young fans (make it less frustrating without ruining the experience).

This game is cute as well as engaging and full of twists and turns. An enjoyable piece of work

I purchased this game as a gift for my 9 years old son and he loved so many challenges and easy to play .

i still have to play this game more, but i've done alot of these reviews and i'm trying to STITCH this all together... this is a casual, easy platformer that is good for all ages.

Yoshi’s crafted world reminded me of a Media Molecule game for PlayStation called Little Big Planet in its cardboard and various other textured layers of the world and its inhabitants. The gameplay is pretty straightforward and easy enough that my 5 yr old daughter is able to move around and have fun playing alongside her dad. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 as I have an issue with how the game determines which of the 2 players can either drive ahead or force the scrolling screen backwards into the map. This caused some arguments when playing 2 player but other than that the game is fun and lighthearted and I would recommend to anyone who is a fan of the Yoshi character and world.

Honestly. I don't get this game. But my 7 year old boy/ girl twins? They absolutely LOVE it, and had the best time playing it together. (Normally, they get mad at each other for stealing each other's power ups in other games.) They were absolutely CONTENT to play this game. And best buy always does a great job getting things to you quickly. Highly recommend buying, and from best buy.

Despite it being a little easy, Yoshi is a very good game that will most likely impress players of any age. It also delights with its artwork generally unique to the Yoshi series, its humor, and level design.

Yoshi has always been fun to me on Nintendo switch. Love this new game. It’s hard sometimes but great.

My wife and I love playing this game. Her character jumps on my Yoshi's back to throw eggs while I navigate the levels. As a non-gamer, it's a great way to play together without both of us getting frustrated. Additionally, the game looks gorgeous. The crafted art direction is adorable and level. If you're looking for more of a challenge, there are tons of collectibles you can pursue if you want to 100% the game.

If you are a fan of Yoshi then you should get this game. It is easy to learn and a lot of fun to play.

This game is pretty fun. It is a little more difficult to play than the other games I bought.
