My son thought it was average.

There are lots of characters but the are all the same only with different colors. The game is really hard and still on the level with the exploding mines. The best part of the game is riding on pouchy who is Yoshi’s pet”. Personally I like it and enjoy playing it with him, still not as great a kirby, but still cute and good, would wait for it to go on sale or play the demo before buying.
