The visual aesthetic in the game is adorable, the levels are varied, and special stages add challenge. Couldn't ask for more in this game.

my 6 year old really wanted this game he loves yoshi, but once he played it a couple of time he got a bit bored but it was because it a bit slow, however his girl cousin that are 7 and 8 love it more .. but i am 35 and i loved it..

Great game to play as a team also good for team building

This version of Yoshi implements similar gameplay of past Yoshi games, with a much more accessible approach to controls. Along with the controls, the visuals are gorgeous and inviting, in a charming new twist, adding the elements of yarn to give it a much more cute and young feel. Whether this may be in response to Sackboy from Sony's Little Big Planet series or not, I'm not certain, however the yarn makes sense. Many challenges, puzzles and features indicate it was thought of as a new mechanic and not just eye candy. I would 100% recommend to anyone with children looking to get their kids into Nintendo classics or someone looking for a fresh reminder of why they love Nintendo, however the game is insanely easy and can get boring.

We find this game to be fun with two players. Recommend.

The last couple of Nintendo platformers have been on the easy side but this game brings back the challenge with awesome graphics

My nephew really wanted the deluxe edition but those are hard to get and he couldn't wait for a re-release. He settled for the regular edition which was still good and ended up finding a pink yarn Yoshii to use for the game,

The yarn aesthetic is pulled off exceptionally well.

my children loved this take on the yoshi franchise

My nephew is 5 and at first he kind of just liked the cool colors and Yoshi (of course), but he got the hang of it very fast and soon enough did not need my help. There's little game mechanics that may confuse him still but those will come with time as he play other games. He loves playing this game for good amounts of time and hasn't got old to him in the last two months of playing. I like it a lot as well, great platformer and the yarn element adds quite a bit of flavor. Bravo, Nintendo.
