    Ys VIIII Lacrimosa of DANA reminds me of the old dreamcast rpgs like skies of arcadia. its a charming JRPG that you can easily get lost in. If you are looking for something that's a bit of a throwback to that era of rpgs pick it up.

    This was my first Ys game and it didn't disappoint. I enjoyed both the game play and the plot. There were some graphical glitches particularly the monsters had non-fluid motion when in the distance and seemed to skip frames.

    This game was amazing on the ps4 and is now an impressive addition to the switch library. If you love action rpgs this is a must buy. The only negative is that the games visuals take a big hit when playing undocked.
