BE WARY OF MANY DIFFERENT MODES
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've flown many different drones, Yuneec being my brand of choice with the Q500. The Typhoon H has "smart" features that will avoid obstacles. Out of the box when you turn it on, it's set in a mode where it will back away from any object moving towards it. As I put it up in the air into a hover, I walked closer to it to inspect it while hovering. I was trying to figure out why it was backing up and before I could do anything, it backed into the garage door about 20 feet behind it without warning. I dont think it's a bad drone, I just think that the smart features need tweaking and it needs to be more user friendly.
