It’s a just a thick plastic. I put it on the same day I gave my wife her watch. (Christmas) I did everything the instructions said to do and within 4 hrs it started peeling up on the sides where it bends over the sides of the watch. I tried to fix it but didn’t have any luck. I would have returned it if it would have stayed on long enough to make it home. Her jacket sleeve pulled it the rest of the way off. Don’t waste your money.

I even took it off and attempted a second time and still got bubbles. So I thought I would return it first thing in the morning. To my surprise when I put my watch on the next morning all the bubbles were gone and you couldn't even tell it was on my watch. I don't know if it was my luck or because it has to set for a while I don't know but it works great.
