    Poor investment

I purchased a Note 8, screen protector friendly case, and this screen protector in late September. Knowing installation on the curved screen could potentially be difficult, I also paid the additional fee to have the screen protector installed by Best Buy staff. Within 10 minutes of leaving the store, this screen protector was already lifting off the curved edges. Now one month later, I am constantly pressing the glass back on to my phone. It lifts off while in my back pocket, purse, or even just in my hand. It collects hair, lint, fuzz, and crumbs around the edges. There is a discernible edge around the phone (between the screen protector and the phones surface) as this product does not truly conform to the rounded edges. I question if this protector can and will protect my phone in the event of a drop/fall, as ill fitting as it is.

    Screen Protector at a Cost

    Posted .

Protecting the screen is it's number one job and it technically does that. The problem is that protecting the screen is only good enough if it works as if it wasn't there. But there are major finger touch sensitivity issues that I just can't live with. I couldn't drop the menu down without poking the screen. I couldn't type A's at first and then when the screen magically fell off, I couldn't backspace. Mine has cracked twice now and I am not gonna pay ten dollars in shipping when I know it costs about the same as a stamp to send me their screen protector under warranty. It's good enough to guard your screen, but only if you don't plan on using it without the s pen.

I am very disappointed in this zagg protector I've had zagg screen protectors before and they have always worked great but with this one my screen would be unresponsive in some parts unless I press really hard and the screen protector wouldn't stay on and just pop off I even had this protector installed by someone at best buy this is the worst screen protector ever problems with it from day one of having it DON'T BUY if you have problems with it you won't be able to get a refund or exchange for it at best buy because it's a consumable product

    Terrible!!

It broke on the first day, the first time it fell. I got a replacement, on the first day I dropped it and the glass peeled off! Additionally, the curved borders immediately get dirty. In both cases the shield was installed by Geek Squad.

    Terrible Investment for $49.99

I read and read online to find the best glass protector for my note 8 and came to the conclusion the Zagg curved glass was the best option. Fail! Dropped phone second day after having it, cracked the zagg protector. It amazed me at how easily it cracked but no big deal $10 more dollars down the drain for the shipping on a replacement, dropped the phone again, busted the ZAGG protector (which flew off when the phone dropped) and shattered the screen to where it wasnt even functional. I could of saved a ton of money ordering a cheap one off line if i knew this was going to be as terrible as the others. $225 for a replacement phone thru warranty.

Just got the Samsung note 8 yesterday. Best buy installed the glass protector and today (24 hours later) it is already falling off and won't stick. I am very upset that I paid all that money and it won't stick like it should.

I feel bad for paying $14 for this. Initially bought the Dome glass which was great but I had to send phone to Samsung to get software reflashed to phone and they removed screen protector. Bought this and it's making me hate my phone. As another reviewer said, unresponsive. Looks nice and was very easy to install perfectly but that's it. Don't buy. Spend a little more on Whitestone dome.

So when I bought my note 8 we were recommended to go this screen protector and have geek squad install it. It was nice at first but when I got home there was dirt in my screen and when you use your phone a lot that can get annoying. So I took it back and had them replace it. I noticed right away that I had to press a lot harder on the screen for it to register. and it kinda pops when you touch it like it wasn't installed properly. Well I bought the defender otter box to go with it. My phone slipped out of my bag which was barely a half a foot fall because my bag was on the ground. Well the screen protecter just fell off like seriously! You pay almost $50 for a screen protector and it doesn't even stay on the phone properly what a waist of my money.

    Worst tempered glass ever

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

My wife and I each bought a brand new note 8. In order to Protect the screen we purchased these for way too much money compared to other better rated tempered glass but it was the only option at Best Buy. Within three days of purchase My screen completely shattered and her screen cracked in half. Mine I understand because I dropped it without a case onto a concrete floor. My wife's on the other hand was simply placed in a cup holder at the movie theater and when we left the theater it had a crack on both sides and eventually connected in the middle before we got home. When I went to redeem the lifetime warranty they wanted to charge me $10 in shipping for a 5 ounce screen protector and that was standard 3-7 day shipping.

    Broke in 3 days

I bought this when I bought my Note 8, application was very smooth and easy and had no issues with using the screen or delay or interruption of the screen. Those are the pros, but here is the major con. I had my phone in my hand sitting at my dining room table and it fell out of my hand. The phone landed on its back screen side face up from about 8 inches. The invisible screen just popped off, whatever was used to stick it to the screen is gone and now it is worthless. $49.99 and it can not even hold up a 8 inch drop onto its back not even directly on the screen.

WASTE OF MONEY, it broke so easily I don't even know how it happened. Only lasted a couple days. Zagg replaced it and I tried to be more careful. That one lasted about a week. Total garbage.

I used this screen protector for just about 24 hours. It is completely clear and fits perfectly. It makes the screen not sensitive enough for easy use though! The screen was least responsive over the keyboard which was frustrating.

    Complete Garbage

I purchased this for my phone and within 2 hours the edge of the glass was cracked then two days later there was a split going up the phone and across the phone. So I figured it was something I did. So I returned it for a new one. Next day same thing...returned it for a new one. Next day same thing...returned it for a new one. Next day same thing...returned it for a new one. Next day same thing...I then gave up and realized that this is just a piece of garbage plus there are very visible lines on the edges of the cover that look horrible. Do not waste your time or money. I wish I would have read some reviews before buying.

Do NOT purchase for Note8. Responsiveness = 2/10

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I've had MANY glass screen protectors in the past, and I've always loved having that piece of mind. For my Note8, I attempted to go without one. For about a year, my phone suffered only MINOR scratches. However, one drop on a bunch of rocks and the screen cracked in several locations. I receive a replacement, and within 3 days, the glass scratches. (Not just a surface scratch. This one catches a fingernail.) So, I decided it was time for a Zagg glass protector. I went to Best Buy, had the Mobile guys install it for me. It has been 2 days, and the glass protector is already cracked (never dropped my phone.) AND the worst part is, responsiveness is an absolute joke! I attempted to lower the pressure using the Home button trick in the settings, but it did very little. Typing with this glass protector is frustrating and extremely annoying. I have gone through web pages, where I was trying to scroll and my screen wouldn't register my touch until I used a good bit of force to press. $30 down the drain, as this thing must come off.

I have used and life Zagg products in the past. I was warned about the horrible experience people had with the S7 and it might be the same for the note 8 with the curved screen. They were not wrong. All of the issues that other people have reviewed about are all true. Rainbow effect, glue lines, clicking noise on touch, etc...but the loss of sensitivity on the screen is a major issue AND I am on my 3rd protector in 2 months due to it cracking. I was loosing grip and caught the phone on my leg and it cracked the glass. Terrible product. Will not be replacing it anymore...

DO NOT BUY FOR NOTE 8!

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I have used Zagg products for all my Samsung phones over the last 10 years without question. This is the first time I advise everyone to look elsewhere for a screen protector. Do not buy the Zagg glass protector for the Note 8. Best Buy did amazing work at installing it, but this screen protector has deemed my Note 8 absolutely useless as you have to press SO HARD in order for anything to register. It is unresponsive. A big miss on Zagg's part. I have removed it and will be looking at other options. It's unfortunate because Zagg usually hits the mark.

    Started cracking at 2 months,

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Started cracking at 2 months, full vertical length of phone cover, and 50% horizontal, and I had dropped the phone or any major temperature changes. At $49.99, and installed at Best Buy by a professional salesperson, this is not good sign. Ok warranty coverage is lifetime so thought I was covered, but fine print, then I had to pay $9.99 to get a replacement. It should not cost for replacement, and if it does, it should not cost $9.99 since it is their product is the problem. I think that Best Buy should of allowed me to return the faulty cover, and put a new on for me, and Best Buy would of handled this issue with Zagg directly, not have me order a new cover replacement at $9.99 cost and then if not return in 60days old faulty one which I now need to pay to ship for additionally to Zagg, they will charge my credit card for a new Zagg cover. Zagg use to have excellent reputation, but this appears to have changed.

I got a brand new phone yesterday and I just put this glass protector on it was easy for me to put on I actually loved how easy it was but now I have to press super hard to get a response from the phone you can literally see where it's sticky and when I press along the edges (where it's sticky) I can hear it like re stick itself if that makes sense plus you can see all the little dots as well I'm disappointed my father bought me this as a gift and I don't want to tell him it's bad and I don't know what to do...
