Bought this cause I wanted to protect the screens on my 3DS, and it is perfect! A bit pricey, but well worth it.

just be mindful what side goes against screen after you peel and spray protective film.the fit was perfect.

Durable and reliable! My daughter is tough on everything. This shield has helped so much!

Screen cover works good and the geek squad did a good job putting it on.

Using the spray required for screen protector application was a bit messy. The top screen protector went with little to no problems but the bottom screen protector was just a mess.

Too easy for airborne dust to get trapped under screen during installation.

These are TOTALLY worth it for the touch screen. I purchased a *NEW* 3DS XL, and they don't quite fit exactly - but they're close enough that it's not a big deal. Something to be aware of before purchasing - they make a separate one for the *NEW* version of the 3DS XL. I like the one on the touch screen, but the one on the upper screen I'm not sure about. I feel like it reduces the image quality a bit, and makes the 3D harder to see. I haven't taken it off yet, though - still trying to decide on that.

Used this on my New 3DS XL and it made things look horrible. Not only was the screen grainy (little rainbow type sparkles) and cloudy in appearance upon application, it messes up the effect of the parallax barrier used by the 3DS to show 3D. Light gets diffused in the screen-protector and you see double images instead of the 3D you're supposed to see. I took the screen protector off and the problem was immediately resolved. It only gets a second star because the application process is fairly easy and very effective, and the stylus slides smoothly across the protector (which I've left on the bottom screen because what else can I do at the moment). Very disappointed!

This product does offer good protection for the screens. However, the material has a grain or something in it that makes the screen seem to be riddled with tiny particles. Some have said it looks "fuzzy" or "blurry" even "pixelated".. I personally think it looks like it's got a static-y look to it. If you are more concerned with a flawless image over protection, find another product. But as far as protection goes, these are great. I am personally going to get a HORI protector when I find one in stores. NEW 3DS XL OWNERS BEWARE!! I purchased this one as everyone online and in stores were claiming that the screen dimensions are similar in size to the original 3DS XL, but the touch screen protector was significantly smaller with this product, I don't know about the other brands, but this one was off by a lot. Be warned!

I got this because it's inexpensive, but unfortunately, you get what you pay for. On the one hand, it does its job. It protects the screen. Unfortunately, that's the best I can say about it. With both screens, it makes the image quality blurry and pixelated. And with the top screen, it horribly interferes with 3D. Get this if you're desperate and don't care about the loss to image quality. As for my personal experience: The one I got already had a fingerprint on it when I bought it. I could see it before I ever touched it, and thought I could clean it with the solution. Nope. Also, I'm baffled why a business card with Bible verses was included among the instructions? Unless Jesus is going to help people apply this thing, I don't see how that was necessary. Overall, would not recommend this product to anyone.

Pros: Easy to use, does evertrying it says it does. Con: Breaks 3d functionality. So I just got a new 3ds xl. I put the screen protector on no problem and it works extremely well. No glare no smudges and it's very protective. But it made me think that either my eyes weren't working or my system was broken. When I had the screen protector on I could only use the 3d setting with the slider right above on before I saw some crosstalk (ghosting effect). When I took the protector off it was crystal clear At max 3d settings. Bottom line I would recommend this as a 2ds screen or for the 3ds if you don't care about the 3d feature. If it didn't destroy the 3d functionality I would give this product 5 stars, but the fact that it's marketed for the 3ds when it shouldnt be gives it a 1 star.

I found it at best buy and so happy when I did. Zagg does not even have it. Very protective and works well.

I've tried the "peal & stick" type screen protectors, and they don't seem to give you the flexibility to make minor adjustments. Went through a 3 pack of cheaper versions without success. Despite the higher price, they are the easiest to install and reusable.

Got this to protect my screen. It was fairly difficult to apply.

Got the Smudgeproof shield, had geeksquad install it for 8$ (Which is rather expensive considering the protector already costs 18$) Everything looks nice, works, fits fine on it. The anti glare and anti fingerprints works well. Only time you will notice an issue is when you turn on the 3d ability. Anything more then minimum you will start to see blurry ghosting issues, where the 3d image breaks and multiplies. I contacted Zagg about this issue, they claim they dont even sell a smudgeproof version for the 3ds xl since they admit it would mess with the 3d ability, where the "Original" zagg shield would not. (Whats funny is, I also told Zagg that Bestbuy does indeed carry their product, so waiting on their response now) So yea, if you dont use the 3d ability, this product is fine. If you even want to use the 3d. You will not want this screen protector.

Once it's loose, you need to buy another. The new gel primer doesn't help with pushing bubbles out like the liquid applicator the predecessors had and even lifting it up slightly to remove some debris ruins it entirely. Not worth the $20 tag and already gone through this process twice already. Not looking for a refund because of my own ineptitude for applying a screen protector, but not worth the investment for trying to do it yourself especially since it's protecting a screen without touch functionality.

Had Geek Squad install it for me because I don't trust myself with it, and even with pros install, it looks okay.

Do not buy this product if you are planning on using the 3D features. This product caused my New 3DS XL to display 3 ghosted images when applied. I had to remove the screen protecter to view clear 3D. I could have just thrown my money in the trash and had the same effect.

Otherwise, you'll have a lot of specks and smudges on the screens to deal with. If specks get caught under the shield it's pretty hard to remove them without messing up the shield. Installation was pretty easy, tho.
