Ok camera but mobile app isn't great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This camera is ok. My biggest problem is the mobile app that you use to playback the video recording. It's very flaky and hard to rewind or fast forward. It constantly crashes and/or doesn't record the video. Very frustrating when you want to go back and watch something. For the price of this, I would expect it to work better. I'd look elsewhere.

Not very happy

One day the cameras started to go off line and before I knew it they were all offline. It is extremely hard to reconnect them to the network, it is time consuming. You will find yourself spending 45 minutes per camera to reconnect it to the Network. I feel very disappointed.

does not connect to internet

The online chat says call your internet service provider. My internet works great, my router is brand new and works great. These cameras do not work!! I bought 4 all 4 say time out can't connect.

Doesn't connect
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First I downloaded the app that the card in the box suggested. It had 1 star reviews in the iTunes store. Now I know why. It crashed every time you tried to open it. Then went to their site and realized they use a new app since producing this. App opened but never connected to the camera. Called the phone number on the card in the box that provides tech support. Recording said they don't do tech support anymore. Go to the website and good luck. Wow.

Garbage

There's a lot of gotcha's with this product: 1) your network name can't have any spaces 2) doesn't connect to modern wifi n/ac only b/g 3) tech support pretty much doesn't exist 4) I can list more but I think you get the idea Save your money and get something else.

If you do have issues, our support team can walk you through several trouble shooting steps to get the camera connected. Regrets- App Doesn't Work

Then around January, the app stopped working. The app citing something wrong with the connection. It only works when I was on Wi-fi which is pointless to have an app- I might as well just log in on a computer. I'm on the go a lot and I can't be near a computer all the time just to check in on my home. I regret buying 3 of them. Now they're only good for recording or watching the feed over the computer. Trust me, it's worth the extra money to brand that's more reliable for their streaming app.

Never connected

Well, I am a fairly savvy person regarding electronics/internet stuff. It did not matter with this thing. I followed all instructions, and even attempted to resolve via Zmodo support. The phone support was closed so I tried the online chat. OMG.. what a mistake. They asked for unit id #. Then told me I provided wrong #. I even provided a picture of the id #'s. Nevertheless, the chat support was useless. I recommend to find a different brand with easier and more reliable set-up. I wasted 1 hour of my life.

Easy to install app

That is about the only good thing I can say about this camera. 1) I could not get the camera to connect to my wireless network 2) I was unable to reach anyone in the customer service department 3) When plugged in for even a short period of time the camera became extremely hot. I really can't say how well the camera works because I was unable to get that far. I am not a computer expert but I am also not a novice and should have been able to get this up and running with ease.

Don't Bother

No longer shows live video, only snapshots. Defaults to LD, can't turn ph to view full screen (screen goes blank), app crashes, can't view from outside home wifi, etc etc etc. No web interface either. Pretty sure these are just going back. Deal of the Day price was too good to be true. Meshare app works a little better but isn't really user friendly.

useless
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this cheap camera....but the quality is terrible. Been using IPCAMs for a decade. The website is terrible and as far as I could figure....it had no cloud storage(says someday they might have cloud storage)...so pretty useless! Didn't install an SD card...because it was such a terrible camera that I returned it. Purchased a DLiNK for a bit more...VERY HAPPY!
