Haven't worked out how to connect a HDD via the USB ports, but haven't really tried, sounds life a great feature though.

He has many items to hook up and this product was the one to do that with. The wifi is fast and we are happy with the is product and how well this worked for our needs.

Great integrated modem and router

Get what you pay for

I have to disconnect and reconnect a lot during long periods of use which is a huge pain.

Subpar

I bout this so I didn't have to pay a monthly fee with Comcast for a modem. I was able to get a lot done at home with this modem. But it would freeze out the wifi too often. Problem is, it's max capacity isn't very high. Trying to watch Hulu on my Apple Tv, it would freeze, even when connected with my Ethernet cable. Also, I noticed that my bandwidth dropped significantly compared to the Comcast Modem (I was getting 65-85Mbps download with Comcast) I was getting 35Mbps download with this modem. I switched to a bigger and better modem and everything is back to normal. But my savings from Comcast just isn't as big. This modem would be good if you just browse the net and check email.
