Bought the phone for an overseas trip so I didn't have to have my Samsung 8+ out in South America and could leave it's SIM in place also. The ZTE Axon 7 really did a great job. Lots of neat features that rivaled my Samsung 8+ Some of the features of the phones cameras software are better than the Samsung and the photos were nearly as good. Overall a great phone for a couple hundred dollars that has some great specs in the Memory, Processor and front/rear cameras areas.

I bought this phone to downsize from my previous Blu Vivo XL. I liked the Blu phone and it worked well for me (except it would sometimes take an age to dial out after placing a call) but it was just too big. I consider a 5.5 inch plus phone to be a small tablet. The reason I got that particular model is because it was inexpensive but had an AMOLED screen. Ever since I bought a Samsung S 8.4 tablet, I've been spoiled by that screen type and I just can't go back to LCD. Anyhow, researching smaller phones that had AMOLED screens I quickly discovered there's not that much choice out there. The Axon Mini looked interesting especially at the reduced price of $199.99. I also considered the One Plus 3T. It's a lot more expensive and again you're back to a large screen size, same with the non-mini version of the Axon 7. I like this phone. I'd say it's good rather than great. The screen is gorgeous; pictures, movies, Netflix all looks superb on here and the colors aren't overblown and garish as they can be on some AMOLEDs The sound from the internal speakers is also very good but that's not something I use a lot. At home I use my tablet synced to a Sony Bluetooth speaker. I also have a separate Bluetooth speaker which I keep in the car to use with this but, in practice, I seldom do. I also enjoy using NFC which is a first on a phone for me. I love using Android Pay which seems to be getting more ubiquitous. The Bluetooth connection doesn't seem as strong as the Blu or, in fact any of my previous phones. I use a Blue Parrot (there's a lot of "blue" in this review) headset for nearly all my calls and whereas with previous phones the signal would carry throughout my apartment, with the Axon it needs to be in the same room or the signal degrades into a digital "burble". It's not the end of the world but I do have to remember to carry the phone around. The battery life isn't anywhere near as good as the Blu but I guess that's the trade-off you get from having a smaller phone? The camera seems on a par with other phones I've had. It's OK but not in iPhone or Samsung Galaxy league. It's OK for snaps in the sunlight which, seeing as I live in LA, is most of my shooting. Inside the house I use a decent SLR camera so that's not a big concern of mine. So, in the end this is what I like about the phone: manageable size, premium build quality and finish, great screen, fast smooth operation, easy pairing, better than average audio, NFC and fingerprint scanner. Here's what I don't like: stock launcher (I switched to Google Now), poor Bluetooth range, inability to transfer apps to the SD card, middling camera and battery life. For $199.99 it was a good choice. At $299.00 I would have probably shifted up to a One Plus 3T. I hope that manufacturers will continue to offer smaller phones with AMOLED screens but that might be wishful thinking when Apple start using AMOLED on the iPhone and using all the manufacturing stock. So if you want a phone like this and screen type is an issue for you rather than some of the not so great details I've discussed, maybe now's the time to snap one of these up? BTW I kept the Blu on as a mini-tablet, even make wifi calls on it in conjunction with Google Voice and Hangouts. It's become my "home" phone which saves me wearing down the battery on this one all the time!

The Phone has a beautifully designed Alu body with an outstanding amaloid screen. For those who can manage Android it is a bargain at 1/3 of the price of a smaller Apple phone and plays music better. The only improvement I would like to see is a bigger battery that would last 12 hours with heavy usage.

Although is not the fastest phone in the market, you can rely on it. Great camera, great sound, has fingerprint scanner. If you are not planning on spending 600 dlls in an iphone this is a good replacement.

Overall this is a good phone, solid build quality, and minimal bloatware. I got it for the dual SIM for when i travel. Switching between SIMs is very easy. Size wise, fits well in my hand. The larger Axon 7 would be too big. Only disappointment is the battery life, not horrible but great, cost it a fifth star. My primary phone is an Iphone 5s but i'm thinking of switching to this Axon 7 mini. A good happy medium between the Iphone 5's and Iphone 6's/7's that are a bit too big.

I actually bought this phone for my mom who was still using a bulky windows phone. She loves it! The screen is very clear & almost reminds me of Samsung's AMOLED display. It's very quick & I have not heard any complaints about lagging. Also the phone is very appealing to the eye ( I bought the gold color). I highly recommend this product & the price is perfect for the high end features included with this phone!

Took a chance and bought the ZTE Axon 7 mini at Best Buy a couple weeks ago. Got the 32 gb unlocked version. I have had numerous Samsung phones in the past, to include S3, S4, S5, S6, and the Notes. This phone does everything that they did for me and at half the cost. I use it on the AT&T network, and have no problems at all. Highly recommend this phone.

For the price I paid for it, it's a great deal. The phone has all the features I need and is pretty responsive. The only con for me is the battery. It could drain fast under regular use and I have to charge it every night.

This phone has a great sleek look with the gold finish. Perfect size. Everything on it runs perfect to my needs and is very fast as well. Battery has a good life as well before it needs charge. I am very pleased with this phone. Easy transaction to set it up as a new phone with same phone number for TRACFONE.

I had the s7 galaxy edge than dropped it couldn't afford the repair cost than I saw ZTE Axon 7 mini read the reviews and knew this was the phone for me just like it's bigger brother which is a little more powerful but this has the same sound quality and the specs are great nothing to squabble about, perfect size too. I wish they had this phone out when I purchased the s7 cause I would of saved a bundle of money. This phone will not disappoint you, I actually like it better than my Samsung dollar for dollar best investment.

well worth the cost, with cameras, chip, and ram delivering outstanding performance and phone has no carrier spam/bloatware. zte has delivered updates and phone is able to imitate flagship features at an afforable price.

All good ... ultra luxury phone for cheap price. All features.. work good beautiful and good phone. Everything work fine. This is little different User interface than other phones . You may get little frustrated in the beginning . but you will be ok and happy after few days.

I went from a flip phone to my ZTE - Axon 7 mini 4G LTE phone I was clueless but with a little patience I was finally able to come into the 21st century My phone basically guided me through everything I needed to know. This phone has an excellent speaker with good sound quality. It also has a decent screen and camera. It is fast and all in all a good bang for your buck.

If your a user that just facebooks and also uses it sc or for video media this product is for you. There's no need to buy a flash ship phone a great gift for kids. Or old people I'm 21 so covince ur parents to buy this instead a eye phone and fix ur car problems.

I've been an iPhone user for many years, but frankly, I'm tired of the high price. I don't have a cell phone account because I spend most of my time outside the U.S. as a tour director, so always have to buy an unlocked phone outright. I had tried Android once before and found it not as intuitive as iPhone, but decided that it was time to try and succeed at learning this system - especially after seeing this beautiful, unlocked phone at a very reasonable price. Well, I'm still on the learning curve, but love the phone - size, weight, design all great. Think I'll like Android in the end.

The Axon 7 mini has every feature you need, with high end quality and speakers that are amazing. Its 32 gb, plenty for anything, great for pics....except low light. The design is neat, clean, and just big enough for ur fingers to attack one handed. A really impressive phone.
