    Very good sound, no clutter.

I've had 5.1 surround sound systems in the past. I like how they sound, but they're all complicated to use and have too many wires and boxes. My wife absolutely hated both systems I had. The ZVOX doesn't have the "full surround sound effects" of a 5.1 system, but it sounds very good. The three built-in subwoofers have plenty of bass, the sound is clear and will play very loud, and the accuvoice feature really works. It makes dialog really easy to understand. A pretty good option if you want accurate sound and good bass, but don't want a bunch of wires and subwoofers on the floor. And my wife doesn't hate it.

Product was not very good. Speakers crackle with any type of heavy action in movies. I wouldn't recommend it for movies at all.

    Best Purchase I Have Made

This was the best purchase I have made in quite awhile. I can actually hear what is being said now. I don't have to keep going back and listening to something two or three times before I get it. It was easy to set up and it is simple to adjust from movie/TV Drama watching to something with music. Can't say enough about it. Wish I had gotten it sooner.

DOES WHAT IT CLAIMS--VERY GOOD EQUIPMENT

I received my Zvox 670 for use with my recently purchased LG OLED 55" TV. I have a hearing problem and have trouble fully understanding some of the newer TV movies and programs concerning voice clarity; and Zvox claims its AccuVoice will help a lot---it is true and from my early tests, it is a big help for me. I had a Bose Solo before, and the Zvox is a very superior sound system . Its adjustability of treble and base are very good, and the sound is excellent. If you follow the directions closely, it is fairly easy to set up, and program to your DirecTV/Dish remotes . And as usual, Best Buy has been great dealing with in the purchase of my new LG TV, and Zvox soundbase. I don't expect anything to go wrong with either piece of equipment, but I do feel comfortable with the purchase of Best Buy's protection plans knowing that I will get some no-hassle service should something happen in the future. I am not an employee, nor have I received any type of promotional benefit; I am just a voice of an average older person, attempting to tell some others about my positive experiences.

    I can finally hear dialog

I have trouble understanding a lot of the dialog on my flat screen t.v, and its especially bad on shows where the actors have English accents. After trying several different sound bars, and returning them, I had pretty much given up. After researching on line, I found this one along with positive reviews by people who have the same problem I do. There are several settings including one called accuvoice. That one did the trick! It passed the test on several British shows and I couldn't be happier. As a side note, music also sounds great on the other settings.

    Just What We Needed

When we told the sales associate what we were looking for, he took us to the Magnolia Room. Just as he was about to demonstrate a soundbar, I almost told him we weren't interested since we came to Best Buy to replace a soundbar that was inferior. The moment he put a disc into the ZVOX 870 we were hooked. The sound is fantastic! This soundbar doesn't need a receiver. The price was also great: $399.99 on sale, regular price $499.99. No bulky speakers or receiver. We are so pleased with our purchase.

    Great sound quality

This soundbase is definitely an improvement over the TV's internal speakers. Perfect for an apartment, as it can get loud with enough bass to enjoy without disturbing the neighbors. The design is also great, as the TV can sit on top or you can place it within a TV console.

I recently purchased a Bose Solo 15 & will be returning it as this unit is so much better & lower priced. There are many tone & surround modes that make it possible to find the exact sound that you want. It has plenty of bass due to the 3 built in subwoofers. I live in an apartment so I have to go easy on that but, it's there nonetheless. If you're looking at this unit & are on the fence about it, do it, you won't be sorry.

    ZVOX IS THE BEST!

I tried several soundbars, Sony, Martin Logan, Bose and the Zvox is way better sounding for the price. Yes even better than Martin Logan and way easier to navigate the menu. The sound is crisp and clean with a great amount of base, that you can adjust. Music sounds awesome, too. You can use Bluetooth to steam your music from various devices, The Martin Logan $1500 sound bar didn't even have this feature. Zvox also looks nice, not too bulky for my 65" TV. Love it!

The ZVOX 670? Sounds good to me...

I've had my eye on ZVOX products for the past 10 years. I knew I was going to buy one. It was just a matter of when and money. The 670 recently replaced an old Sony 5.1 SRS receiver I bought from Best Buy on Black Friday 1997. I wish I had pulled the trigger sooner but I was waiting for the Sony to die so as to justify the ZVOX purchase. Let's just say that I got tired of waiting. This thing is amazing! Voices sound like they are in the room with you... and that's without the AccuVoice function activated. That alone sealed the deal. Music sounds fantastic through the 670. I played a couple of performances off the CrossRoads 2007 DVD hosted by Eric Clapton. The cuts with Sonny Landreth, Doyle Bramhall, Jeff Beck, and several collaborations including Clapton sounded outstanding through the 670; much better than through my Jamo reference speakers powered by the Sony receiver. I'm sure I'll find other things to rave about this SoundBase. Perhaps I'll repost to comment about those features. Would I recommend this to a friend? I already did and I'm doing it again.

I have had this for about 1 month and it works really good. I wonder If any one hooked up an ext powdered sub and how doe it sound with the lows? I was suspect at first . Its kinda big but functional. good to place the TV on it . We plan on using as Bluetooth speaker for outside party were having. The accu voice really brings things to the for-front. Give it a try.

For me, it's the perfect system

If a person has the footprint space, this is an incredibly good system for them. I am still amazed at how improved the sound is in my rather large room. Speech is much easier to understand and music reproduction is fantastic. Now that I know what I've been missing, I wish I had purchased it sooner. The only con that I can come up with is the footprint size, and for me this is no problem.

Excellent Sound Quality for Dialog and Music

So far the ZVOX 670 appears to be a quality soundbar. I replaced a Panasonic sound bar that wasn't much better than the television speakers. DIalog is excellent and the ZBOX volume can be cranked up when listening to your favorite tunes. Added benefit is the bluetooth capability that allows you to play music from an Android or Apple product.

    TINY REMOTE

SOUND SYSTEM IS OUTSTANDING, SOLVED MY PROBLEM OF HEARING VOICES OVER MUSIC SOUND. ONLY REASON I GAVE IT 4 STARS IS THE REMOTE HAS SUCH TINY BUTTONS, DIFFICULT HITTING RIGHT ONE. IN FUTURE MODELS , WOULD IT BE CONSIDERED TO MAKE THE REMOTE SLIGHTLY LARGER OR AT LEAST MAKE BUTTONS BETTER SUITED FOR NORMAL FINGERS AND NOT MUNCHKINS???

Purchased the ZVOX soundbase 670 in 2016 to put in our den. The soundbase replaced a 7.1 Yamaha surround sound system with speakers and wires running all over the room. We have been happier with the ZVOX, it is simple to use vs the receiver and different channels for the speakers. You can connect your phone via Bluetooth and play music too, which is great making the soubdbase a giant Bluetooth speakers. I like the base too as it lifts the TV up a few inches as well, a soundbar would have blocked the remote control receiver on the TV, the soundbase doesn't block any remote control sensors.
