Q: Can a separate powered subwoofer [Sony 10" ],,, be added to this soundbar ?
A: Yes, there is a subwoofer output that is controlled by the volume buttons.
A: I own SB500 with Accuvoice. It can be selected by remote control to be on or off. The added voice clarity is remarkable for my wife and me. We are mid-70s and have weaker high frequency range hearing, so the this feature is the clincher for us. The full range of sound is unaffected and is very good overall. When listening only to music via Bluetooth, I turn Accuvoice off unless I want better vocal clarity. Adding or limiting bass and high frequencies can be adjusted separately. The OL feature averages sound levels but this affects dynamics so I tend to keep it off. This thing is perfect for watching TV shows where conversation is normally muddled.
