I just love our new washer (and the matching dryer). We had a front loader before, but this one is 30% larger in capacity, significantly quieter, nice large door opening, and doesn't suffer from the bad smell caused when you keep the door closed. Love that I can define "our" usual wash cycles. The wifi works, although I am still not convinced they have found the true reason to connect to wifi. Looks great in the new laundry room! My only complaint is that I can't change the music that it plays at the end of the cycle. Both the dryer and washer play the same tune - so which one just finished? :)

I bought this set with the pedastals. I wanted steam and front loaders. The music end of cycle and startup alert gets old real fast. However, it is an amazing washer. The touch screen is great and makes it super easy to use. The machine is super quiet and even on the pedastals super spin is quiet and almost no vibration. The power foam should work on bulky cycles because that was the whole point. It doesn't. Maybe mine is broken but it only creates the power foam on the normal cycle not bedding. Also, the spin cycle adds water! The whole point of "spin only" is to just spin the clothes to get water out. I washed a few rugs and put them on spin only. After 1 min of spinning, water was added. My husband didn't believe me, so he tried it. Same thing. Last complaint, the wifi app would have been neat. It is useless. You have to register the serial number and give them all this other information, so you can press start remotely? The only reason I wanted to try it was for an end of cycle alert. I can make th washer do another cycle or start it remotely but it is dumb and the apps very low reviews agree.

Had to replace my old washer. Did my research and found that this was highly rated. Luckily Best Buy had it on sale and well it ended up in the basement. I would usely never consider spending this kind of money on a washer but do not regret it now. It is easy to use, very quiet, has a crazy selection of wash cycles and is very efficient on both water & detergent. I have a wide variety of wash needs (mega dirty shop clothes, a ton of wool clothes and my wife has a bunch of frilly things). It has handled all these well and does a good job cleaning them. The only concern I have is whether it will last and be trouble free. With all the electronics and fancy motor control I hope they live long enough to justify the cost of the unit. Will have to wait and see but for now I'm all thumbs up with no problems. So in summery I would recommend it if you have the cash to get it and hope that it is on sale! Cheers, Brew

I have nothing but high regards for my new washer it is very quiet and lets me know when the was is done with a soft bit of music instead of a loud annoying buzz. I do admit i barley get a chance to use it as everyone in the household now volunteers to do laundry :) . the touch screen control panel only took about 5 minutes to completely understand. I did hook it up to our internet but cant bring myself to use a smart phone with it. To my wife's opposition i brought in my shop towels from the garage and tossed them all in and put on the heavy duty setting put in the HE soap. that simple to my amazement my towels were like new, well for the most part except the hole in them from years of abuse in my garage, but as for clean they were incredible clean. it is definitely saving on electricity and water i have had for jsut over a month and can see a difference in my bill / usage already. Anyways I just thought i would share how well the washer worked for me. We purchased this washer with a pedestal which has a nice little drawer for storage inside it. BTW i did rate this as a excellent value for price, It was a expensive washer but the value is in my opinion totally worth it.

This washer is fabulous! I have had this washer for a couple of weeks now. It will wash clothes and they turn out so fresh smelling -even my teenagers smelly practice clothes. It uses very little soap-make sure you use the HE types. The washer is HUGE and can wash a ton at a time. The normal wash cycle will only take 1 hour max for your basic load. I love that I can use the app that I downloaded on my phone. It will start your wash and keep track of the time and alert you when your laundry is done. For some reason mine has lost connection at times, but you just reopen the app and reconnect and it will continue where the load time is at if you need to check it. I also love that I can delay start the wash up to 24 hours. This WASHER is VERY accurate on time compared to my old front loader that I would check and it would constantly be changing time and take forever to get done. I always leave the door open and wipe out the door and gasket after each load and have NEVER had any smell or problems.

Nice quiet performance with a very large capacity. Able to customize cycles. Very attractive machines. Love the touch screens.

I purchased this set as a house warming present for myself. I have owned regular washers to the Calypso. The graphite color looks totally amazing and really has great eye candy for the modern laundry room. Of course does it work as good as it looks??? YES! I have used mine for over a month and I am super pleased with each cycle. This washer has cut my laundry time down from 4-6 loads a week to 2 loads a week. This beast holds a ton of clothes. Touch screen is very user friendly and no learning curve at all.The menu makes it so easy to add a pre-wash or extra stain removing power.Clothes come out great. No wrinkled up mess or half dripping with water.The way the washer performs makes the dryer have a easy job.

Washer works great. The wireless access via iPhone app is minimal. You have to initiate the access at the time you start the cycle. If you forget you have to wait till the next load. The notification from the app for cycle finish doesn't work. But overall great washer for cleaning clothes without wearing them out.
