Very excellent phone but a bit too expensive
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This is one of the best Samsung phone that I have owned to date; however there are room for improvements on this model as given below. Pros: Very light Takes magnificent photos (even items, birds or persons taken at a far distance do not appear pixelated; as I experienced with previous models) Takes great videos (4K quality) Quick charging Easy to use with only one hand Fair amount of default memory 128 GB (can be extended by up to 1 TB with a micro SD card, depending on model purchased) and has 12 GB onboard RAM Cons: The main 5G selling point, does not give any additional or faster network advantages as advertised Too expensive (although the price has dropped by about $150 since the release date if you shop around) Limited colors to choose from Audio quality is not as great as I had expected (sees no improvements over the S10) bass it tolerable at best The “installed stereo speakers” do not always play sound from music, videos or audiobooks in a balanced manner; ( with my connected headset one side (left or right) tend to be louder than the other, somewhat muffled). Bixby can at times be frustrating (popping up when you are attempting to use Google or other apps Switching from taking still photos to videos can be frustrating Battery life is not as long as advertised (even from just travelling around town and occasional use of Google map) No 3.5 mm headphone jack

Battery life is great
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Purchased this phone for my husband. It was an upgrade from Samsung galaxy S7 edge. Neither of us are wowed by it but he likes it. The battery life lasts all day with frequent use (constant use GPS, text, phones calls, and playing games). The camera takes nice pictures and the screen resolution is an improvement but again overall not impressed.

Battery life amazing
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed.I love the color first off blue is my favorite so I love the baby blue I also got the matching ear bud plus which battery life is great on that as well. The camera is great of course although that 30 zoom is extra blurry unless I don't know how to use it i don't know, but I love that its light weight very easy to hold about and inch longer than the s10 and skinner. I enjoy that the screen protective it comes with works pretty good I've drop my phone at least 5 times already on concrete no scrapes I also have a otter box case so I can't tell you if my phone would still be pretty with out but overall a great phone in my opinion so far. The battery life my favorite i can go a whole 24 hours on one charge which works for me because I do alot of streaming and Bluetooth things that kills a battery but this one last pretty well. Overall another great Samsung product i only had the phone a week now so anything outside of what I do i can't tell you but for what I like to do it gets the job done.

Overall Excellent Device
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This is my 5th Samsung and it is a great improvement over the S9. The phone itself is almost exactly the same size, the HDR10+ Infinity-O Display is vastly improved over previous models, and most other variations of the newest phone are great. The speed is terrific, and the fact that this is a 128gb phone with the capacity for a microSD card makes the storage capacity beyond reproach. Two small downsides. First, no earbud jack. I know I know, who needs that. But sometimes I do and it would be nice to have it and still be able to charge my phone without another adapter. Second, I don't like the fingerprint reader in the middle of the screen. The one on the back of the camera was more reliable. However, the face recognition on this phone is vastly improved so I normally just swipe to unlock.

A good looking well functioning phone
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.I was not going to upgrade. My S8 was still a good phone until I dropped it and broke the screen. Would have cost more than the phone was worth to fix and besides Samsung had just mothballed updates to the OS on the S8. Got the S20 just before the "shutdown" so I had plenty of time to get it customized to my liking. It is nice that the screen now covers almost all of the front of the phone. Only a small bezel around the edges. The phone is fast and the camera excellent. The only downside is that the case is all glass. Looks nice, but is slippery. Phone came out of my pocket and now has a crack, fortunately in the back. The phone needs a case to "contain" it. Unfortunately for me the case did not arrive until a week after the phone so the breakage occurred while it was still naked. I would have been interested in the capabilities of the more advanced models. But those things are huge. The S20 is really at the limit of what I want for a phone.

Excellent device!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed.I upgraded from an S8+. The S20 5G is a smooth operator. I would've preferred that Samsung retain the shorter, wider screen with the 18:2 aspect ratio of the earlier S8, 9 & 10, but that's just a personal preference. Other than that, l like the phone a lot. Great aesthetics, smooth & fast performance, OS getting better in each iteration. If your main objective is to have a camera with all the bells and whistles, you may prefer the Plus or Ultra, but that's not my priority so the camera on the S20 is more than adequate. Expensive, but I bought it when Best Buy was offering a $300 subsidy, so the cost was significantly more palatable. Thanks, Best Buy. I highly recommend this phone if you're an Android user and suspect it would also tempt iPhone users if they could get past the added complexity of a highly customizable phone.

It's a very nice phone but not the best.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Alright, I'm going to try took keep the brief. The phone works great but some of the modifications are a pain. The finger print scanner to unlock the phone was very convenient on my galaxy 9plus but now I find myself guessing and missing when I try to unlock this one. The price tag is crazy high though I'm sure that will keep going up for each phone. The power button being on the same side as the volume buttons is not very convenient and the removal of the audio jack is very inconvenient since this is the only device I have that uses USB c headphones. I'm sure some of these things will make more sense over time but as of right now I'm not a fan.

Just the right size
||Posted .Me and my wife recently upgrade form the S10. I got my wife the plus and got the base model. She enjoys the size of the phone. It has been rather nice having the smaller model only because it is easier to use in one hand. You only really sacrifice one sensor on the camera but everything else is the same. Same screen quality and camera quality. Overall of you want to save a little bit of money the smaller of the three is perfectly fine.
