Comes in handy when it's getting late for work and you still need to warm up the car. Also prevents any theft while letting you know as the key fob goes off with its alarm in case of robbery. It's simply anti theft ball bearing tilt switch goes off too if your car gets hitched on a tow truck and hood alarm if popped open in case of battery/underneath hood robbery. The alarm sensitivity can be adjusted while geek squad is installing. Loved how they installed my alarm, no junk underneath my dash board. I feel satisfied on the no trimming or cutting my wires harness he simply added my viper alarm system to my trucks brain/computer. I really recommend this Geek Squad Installation in Pasadena, CA with Eddy in auto tech. Thanks man great job. More than satisfied.

Only thing is I drive a diesel and I haven't found a module to have it delay start until the manifold heater is done so I just have it set to a 40 sec delay

Rather than buying a couple remotes and having the dealer program them, I opted for the remote start system with keyless entry and alarm. I'm very pleased with its operation and performance and intend on buying another one for my other vehicle. Best buy installation was courteous, professional and completed in a timely manner.

A great item for the people who work in a building with no strait view to your car. The smart start lets you start your car from anyplace with your phone.
