||Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.I bought this for my Sony RX 100VI and I love it! It has all the buttons to zoom take a picture all while sitting on top of the stick. What are you convenience of not having to hold the camera or fear of dropping it just put it on top of the stick and start shooting your pictures and away you go!

RX 100 vi tripod remote
||Posted .Reasonably priced and light in the camera bag this small tripod remote works for stable group shots and it also trips the shutter. It’s week made and given the design should be able to take normal wear and tear. Useful accessory

- A:Answer Hi Tlc, No. This shooting grip is not compatible with the Sony a5100. The Sony VCT-P300 and VCT-VPR10 are fully compatible with a5100. Check them out. Regards, Vincent

Q: QuestionUnderstanding I still need to wirelessly connect to a smartphone for image review, controls and such, can you tell me if the grip is compatible with the QX30 lens camera? I love the QX30, but handling with progressively thinner phones is clumsy.

- A:Answer Circling back around to Sony, I was able to find the compatibility matrix for my lens camera - while this grip doesn't appear to be compatible, the down-level version of this (without the built-in camera controls) is, so that's the direction I went. Thanks!
